Find out what Argentinean restaurants to try in Guayaquil. Founded in the 1530s, Ecuador's largest city and main port is the top access point for Galapagos cruises and home to a bustling import-export business. Tourism is on the rise as well, thanks to a new international airport and urban renewal projects along the River Guayas promenade and in the historic neighborhood of Las Peñas. The 465-step climb to the top of Santa Ana Hill provides sweeping views and a chance to stand on the site of the city's birthplace.

What a find... recommended by personnel from our hotel. Excellent food from seafood, pork, beef, or sausages (sample of items eaten by our group). The food was excellent and the portions are huge and the prices were very reasonable. If you visit Guayaquil you need to eat here at least once.

The food is fairly basic, with a limited range of dishes. No beer is served and a very limited selection of wine. The service was reasonable, and the value was good.

After flying from Quito to Guayaquil in a sunday arriving guayaquil at 9:30 we have not much options to find many places open until 11:PM in a Sunday. So we went to Samboromdon maybe to have something to eat at the mall Rio Centro but the place was almost closing Down so a friend subject to us if we want some nice cut of tender Argentinian meat. We say yess. We drove to Las Terrasas Plaza behind Rio Centro mall. To find in the second floor of the CC Las Terrasas such a nice well decorate and a great atmosphere place.Locos a La Parrilla wich means Crazy about the gril. Was the right place for us because at that moment our craving for meat was big. So the Meat the pizza and some Argentinian Pate.We stay there almost until 12:00PM the staff were very nice and we meet a few of the Owners a Argentinian guy name Pierre who give us a excellent experience in this restaurant. By the way the pizza was made on the grill so the bread was very crunchy.Love it.Twitter @RestaurantesEC
