Another of our favourite restaurants in Fiscardo - the grilled meat is amazing and so are the potatoes! We always without fail have a fabulous dinner and are currently sat here waiting for our food! It smells amazing! The staff are fabulous and we look forward to visiting again soon

I am sceptical about very good reviews of restaurants in holiday places: the sun is out, the wine is flowing and you have a jovial host and Greek music thrown in so what could be nicer. We spotted Sea Rock when walking along the coast from our apartment in Agia Efimia. It looked well attended so when I checked it out on this site I thought it might be a case of Holiday Euphoria! How wrong I was. The restaurant looks like many others in AF but the food is certainly not! The menu is certainly not your run of the mill Taverna fayre. Not a huge menu by any means but certainly something for most people. We shared Tsatsiki to start; beautifully presented and very tasty. Then for mains I ordered Cod on Spinach with Mushrooms and hubby had Pork in a Mustard and Lemon sauce. The dishes when delivered were very attractive and made you want to dive right in! The food was absolutely delicious. Hubby managed a dessert of Chocolate Mousse; I tried it, too rich for me but he enjoyed it. The house Rose was excellent as was the service - attentive and pleasant. In the UK this food would certainy merit 2 Rosettes. We were so impressed we booked for our last night on holiday thinking it would make a fitting end to a perfect 10 days away.

I stumbled across this amazing find completely by accident and I am so grateful I did. Not only is it by far the best food I have had in Cephalonia, the slow roasted pork and garlic lemon freshly caught fish may be two of the best meals I have ever had (not to mention the stuffed squid, stuffed peppers , stuffed tomatoesâ¦. Oh I could go on!). All the produce is local and superbly fresh. But perhaps the most special thing about this place is the beautiful and unbelievably generous host, Anastasia⦠See you next year!!Dear Melora,thank you so much!It was a pleasure "accident" for all of us!Looking forward to see you!!!

Occasionally you order something from a restaurant that, whilst perfectly cooked and presented, really isn't for you. It's when that happens that you discover what the customer care of a restaurant is all about. Well, the response from both waiter and owner at Acqua Alaties was superb. I had declined an alternative, but the course I had rejected was still taken off the bill, a glass of wine offered "on the house" as was a coffee. Thank you - the gesture was much appreciated.As other reviewers have said, this restaurant offers great views of the sunset; is adjacent to a lovely little beach and is the perfect place for a light super. Whilst my meal was not right for me, I could see that other clients were having a great time.

Stopped only for aperitif and had raganada and fried aubergines. They were really nice and tasted of made there and then for us. Staff very friendly. I am leaving tomorrow and sorry i cannot go back for a full meal.Well done!

We went for lunch. Itâs in a gorgeous location next to the waters edge in beautiful Assos. We were seated promptly and service was friendly and efficient even though it was busy. We have been coming to Assos for quite a few years now and noticed this new addition up on the mountain side. A real treat watching the sunset and eating the fabulous food. We had sardines, sausage ro start followed by vegetable ratatouille and chicken all beautifully cooked Greek cuisine. Friendly service and great atmosphere ..will be back to try rest of menu later in the week.

We came here for lunch whilst in Fiscardo and it was REALLY good! Traditional Greek cuisine beautifully presented by very friendly staff. Would recommend the eggplant saganaki and octopus carpaccio. House wine was delicious also. Would definitely return!
