Good vibes, relaxed atmosphere. 110% recommend and would come back here. The 2 resident dogs are a bonus and super friendly! Will miss this little gem!

Front desk needs to be changed
Reviewed By ikespandThis is a review for which I wasn’t able to stay but I am sharing my personal experience during the ordeal of checkin. Hostel have cancelled my booking for which I haven’t received any notification from the booking site, this can be a technical glitch which I understand. After reaching, the receptionist asked me to cancel the booking and told me that they will accommodate in offline manner. After that, he simply couldn’t for entire stay duration. Again I can understand that it can be human error. Worst thing was the behavior of the receptionist, arrogant and calling a customer a liar repeatedly. It seems that pretending too much cool in this hostel made them forget how to behave with a customer. I am not your friend, I am a customer who deserves respect. I guess that’s what they should have learned in hospitality management classes. Around 20:00 o’clock, we left with no option to stay there and end up staying at somewhere else. It was stressful situation to find a place to stay.

Reviewed By holderemmaNot bad, nice friendly owners and inclusive of activities. Large double room, however leaked rain in the bathroom the whole time. 7 awesome dogs. Hygiene level pretty low, lots of mould in the bathroom and chill area pretty filthy. Loud, bad music on most of the night, bring your earplugs. Close to beach and very chilled hostel.

I checked in mid night, knowing that Manager Kennedy assured my checked in very promptly, service was unexpected from them. He really helped places to visit in Goa, really it was amazing stay. You can surely stay in this property without any doubt.

Lazy Llama provides shelter through Corona Lockdown
Reviewed By colmguest1If this was a normal day in a normal year then I could tell you how much fun and comfort you can have at Lazy Llama with the Bar, Chill-out Space, Quiet area, but these are not those days. Having arrived on the Friday before lockdown I have witnessed and benefited from the incredibly hospitality and humanity the Owners and Staff of this hostel have shown to Indians displaced as well as foreign visitors. They have provided us with heavily discounted shelter looking only to cover costs and continued to keep the supplies coming in for our needs and in doing so have genuinely built a family of people who look out for each other and continue to enjoy what is probably the best place I can imagine to serve lockdown. Today is the 15th April and there is still no end in sight for lockdown, but with wonderful meals provided by the carpenter, when the cook did not arrive in time for lockdown. Creative arts have been a mainstay in the fight for sound Mental Health as well as generous helpings of humour and outings to the beach (shush), this has actually becoming an amazing experience and I don’t think any of us here will ever forget this ongoing situation. Thank you to the Owners and the Staff for doing there utmost to keep us safe and well. 5 stars does not even touch what they have here. Aapaka Bahut Dhanyavaad!

Sustains hostel in north goa
Reviewed By MoozicfreakThis quaint hostel in the heart of North Goa is a great reminder that you are the key to all the good around. It focuses of mental health, sustainability and security compared to other hostels I have stayed at. I stayed in their double room with a balcony with my plus one. It was clean, cozy and felt like my home away from home. I was amazed to find an automatic room freshener, cushions and a snack mini bar in a hostel private room. It was surprisingly quite in the room after hours in spite of the kitchen being right outside and the main road being on the other side. Some of the things that made it an exceptional stay were great hospitality, reminders for self care, fantastic collection of books to read, super fast internet, smart TVs, refillable water bottle, tray table in the room to work with my laptop on, ton of board games, digital room locks, drinks in glass bottles, well equipped community kitchen, open spaces, bamboo tooth brushes, easy parking for 2 and 4 wheeler and a lovely ambience. The staff had some amazing suggestions to explore around and were fun to chat with. I found company pillows made out of recycled cigarette butts. They have 4 and 6 bed dorm rooms including female only dorms apart from the private rooms. Love that each dorm bed has curtains. The entertainment/ common room has a lot of board games, musical instruments, smart tv and a play station! Next time I am looking to chill up north, U R D Ki will certainly be my go to place again!
