There is nothing that makes me as mad as when one drives 30km to get a good burger, order your food before you leave and ask for a well done burger, then get a take away and return home to find a hamburger patty that are still raw inside! This was my first time dining at Ed's and a spur of the moment eat out. I was pleasantly surprised after ordering drinks to see the waiter bring "double" the ordered drink. She explained that is is a buy-one-get-one-free, which makes the experience one of almost paying for a drink what it cost back in the 60's.The portions of the food was generous all round, and we had to take a doggy bag as we could not finish the meal. The pizza was pretty good, with pulled pork topping and fried onions. The service was friendly, prompt and accurate with what we order. The total experience with the ambience and setting taking you back to the days of Sean Connery, Steve Mc Queen, Marilyn Monroe and others portrayed up on the walls with juke boxes from the 60's as antique art was great

Real pub atmosphere with good service and nice vibe. I had a really good half chicken. Peri peri sauce was authentic and taste spot on. Good sides and all-round good meal. Real value for money with the Entertainer app, only paying for one main meal.

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch at Papa's with friends. Lovely ambience sitting in the leafy courtyard listening to live music being played in the background. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

I had the steak opening special which was excellent value for money but a bit tough even though it was correctly done. The venue is great and very big with a nice kids area. The service was excellent with a waiter and trainee waiter doing their job correctly. Still very quiet but will get busier when it becomes better known!

With a large open air wood smoker standing outside the restaurant, I expected smoked meats like pulled pork shoulder, smokey steaks and burgers and ribs. This is exactly what you get, including a large range of craft beers. I have eaten there three times and enjoyed it, but the food tends to be single dimension. There is no finesse. Do not go there in the evenings, it turns into a very loud student drinking joint.Hi Anton Thank you for your review and sharing your point of view.
