The hotel is situated in the historical centre of Garda directly on the lake front. Integrated in an ancient building, recently renovated on the picturesque square of the port. You will be welcomed by the Dorella family in a friendly atmosphere and by its excellent, traditional cooking. On the pension menu you have the possibility of choice of three first course dishes, two second course dishes and three desserts. During the summer season you can also dine outside on the terrace. The hotel also offers the possibility of using the covered, 24 hour supervised garage for your car, which is included in the price of your stay. It is situated 500 metres from the hotel and there is a shuttle bus service to and from the centre.

Reviewed By JakiNottinghamA very comfortable family hotel clean and well kept, meals a little repetitive - staff very helpful. The only complaint was that we were not provided with even a hot drink on the day of departure. The hotel is centrally located by Lake Garda.

Reviewed By I5003DHamyfAs soon as we arrived we were greeted by every member of staff and Vinccenzo in particular assisted me with my bags to my room and was so warm and assisting the whole stay. We were upgraded to a suite as it was my boyfriends birthday and the views of the lake were incredible. The breakfast is superb and full of choice. I definitely recommend. This part of Lake Garda has a lively vibe as is definitely one of the best places to stay across the lake. Vinccenzo’s service stood out the most to us and we would like to thank him publicly

Perfect and live-saver
Reviewed By szmajliThe lady at reception saved my life. We arrived on a hot and sunny monday after a long trip. Unfortunatelly I had made a mistake during reservation on booking.com (I had choosen a wrong day). After the compliance the lady solved our "tiny" problem and ensured the requested rooms. We havent found free parking lots for our motorbikes so we could use the hotel private parking. Thanks a lot for this kindness.

Reviewed By ncmonoThe room was small but perfectly formed! Massive comfortable bed, really good shower, beautiful balcony. The staff are lovely and the food in the restaurant is perfect. The only issue with the property is its quite far from town and taxis are non existent in the evenings so be prepared for a very hilly walk. It's in a residential area so very quiet and there's plenty of parking. Highly recommended

Hotel San Marco di Garda is a family and quiet hotel, located in a central area of the town of Garda less than 50 meters from the beach and the promenade towards Bardolino. In addition to the traditional rooms the hotel has recently been refurbished of three new large lake view rooms, which can accommodate a family of four with a sliding door to ensure privacy. All rooms are basicly equipped with TV LED, safe and fans. Some rooms provide balcony and lake view. Hotel San Marco has a private parking inside at extra fee. Hotel San Marco offers free Wi-Fi connection in all rooms and common areas. The breakfast is served at the table and can be enjoyed on the charming terrace overlooking the lake.

Reviewed By FarAway814461A fabulous family run hotel, spotlessly clean rooms and public area's, with views over the lake. We spent 6 nights at this lovely hotel, the breakfast was excellent with a good variety on the menu, the Covid regulations were very good, a pack containing masks, gloves & hand gel was provided as was a rather nice complimentary toiletry pack. The family were very helpful with suggestions for places to visit and arrangements. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By Z4939TDalexfSante makes the best Negroni in Garda, he remembers guests by their drinks, we are the Negroni family and last night we met the Pinot Grigios from Holland. All the staff are very friendly. The bruschettas are wonderful with many great toppings.

The property is ideally located on the centre of Garda's promenade, only a stones throw from the lake shore and literally within a minutes walk of the ferry quay and within 3 minutes of the bus station. The accommodation itself was both impressive and spacious inside and out. Our bedroom was approximately 16ft by 16ft, traditionally decorated with a very comfortable (on the firm side) king sized bed, a single bed, tv, huge wardrobes, dressing table and a quietly efficient, remote controlled air conditioning unit which, coupled with the pulleyed metal window and patio door shutters meant for a perfect nights sleep. Although not en-suite, our personal, large bathroom with efficient, large shower (no bath) was immediately next door and for which we had our own key. The whole place was spotless - our bathroom was cleaned and our bed made each day with fresh towels and bedding every three days. Through the patio doors was our large private balcony with table and chairs overlooking the front garden, then outside restaurant/bar and then the lake. Breakfast was had on the balcony each morning and on a self service basis - there was a huge choice of cereals, breads, croissants and cakes that Antonella the hostess would have collected fresh from the bakers each morning. Also, ham, cheeses, fresh fruit, fruit juices, name, nuts, berries.....I could go on! Fresh coffee was brought directly to your table with as many refills as you might like. There was also a kitchen for the guests to use including a fridge/freezer kettle and coffee maker. There was also a selection of local wines that were available to purchase. In the rear garden there was a small swimming pool and pawned area with comfotable loungers and parasols which was a real bonus after coming back from a tiring day's sightseeing. If you're planning on going to Lake Garda, Garda Town is ideally situated halfway up the lake and this place can't be beaten. It's location is unrivalled and at only 100 Euros per night you'll be paying a third of what it would cost to stay in a hotel. You'd be daft not to! Special mention to Antonella the hostess. Although she spoke little English she was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. Nearly forgot to mention that bikes were also available free of charge - perfect for a leisurely cycle along the promenade down to Bardolino and beyond to Lazies.

Reviewed By Peter CBikapi is the ideal place to stay if you want peace and quiet but also want to be within easy walking distance of the lake and the centre of Garda. The rooms are excellent, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is extensive and you have the use of a communal kitchen area with fridge space, crockery, cutlery and basic supplies included. Christian the owner has created a relaxing, informal and interesting place to stay and we very much look forward to our next visit.
