Small restaurant located on the east coast of Lake Garda ( Torri del Benaco). Le Gemme di Artemisia offers cooking class in the morning and restaurant at the evening time with only 3 tables , therefore it is highly recommended to book it in advance. We have only tasting menus ( see on our web site). Since 2017 we have an accommodation located on the top floor of the restaurant with a stunning view to lake Garda.

A cooking class with Lara and Andrea was a fantastic treat and experience. It was a treat for my niece, but all four friends loved it. I've lived in Italy and love to cook, what better combination than a class in a beautiful Lake Garda location with absolute 5 star service and food??? Grazie a Lara e Andrea! We will return every time we are in Italy. So easy to book and truly worth every penny.

The menu is decided by the owner who shops for the best produce every morning and creates his fantastic dishes accordingly. We counted 16 courses, which were all wonderful, and so were the wines. If you are in Garda, you have to dine there!

Situated slightly outside of the tourist Garda area this restaurant should be in your list if you like a more posh / smarter option than down at the lake. Nice raw fish starter plates, we took half portions which was enough. Nice pasta and Deserts. Give it a go and best to book as popular.

we walked VERY far in the heat along the main roads to try this number 1 Tripadvisor restaurant to be told it was closed - this was Friday afternoon at 12:00 ? A woman inside the restaurant greeted us at the door to inform us it was closed. The tables outside and inside were all set.
Tried to call the restaurant later in the afternoon since the website and tripadvisor says they are open on Friiday, to find out their phone number does not work?
Anyone who can figure this out, please let us all know?

We sat outside for lunch - in the cozy Stone Archway which is decorated with special touches...fishing nets, lights, colored candles.
Tried the Persico - breaded perch, excellent recipe. Complimentary chocolate chip cookies when paying the bill - a special touch, great recipe!
Great place to have lunch while strolling the small shop streets in Garda.

This restaurant has very good reviews for their pizzas but my husband and I went for carprese salad starters. I then had the biggest grilled cuttle fish I have ever seen accompanied by grilled Italian vegetables. My husband had one of his favourite Italian dishes, spaghetti vongole. The meal was accompanied by bread, water and a half litre of house red wine. The bill came to fifty eight euros, this sounds expensive but I had a lot of cuttle fish! The clientele were mainly locals which is always a good sign. Although the restaurant is off the normal tourist route it is well worth a visit for its very good food and courteous efficient service.

Ate dinner here regularly during our week's holiday and the food and service were consistently good. Lovely to see the chef popping out to chat to customers and explain how the dishes were cooked. The pasta was excellent, and the platter of cold meats and cheese was a generous starter with tasty mostarda. The veal was beautifully cooked and the potatoes and vegetables very good.
Well worth a visit - one street away from the lake front.

We liked everything in this restaurant - the best Italian food, service, decent prices and atmosphere. It is more than recommended to book in advance as many visitors were refused due to fully booked place.

We walked past but just had to go back and try some of this gorgeous looking Gelateria on display. The tastes were out of this world and you could tell these were homemade because of the texture and tastes. A must if you are on holiday , what a treat.

The cooking here is par excellence.......the dining room has amazing ambiance..
Candlelit tables inside the Victorian Glass Veranda room, with panoramic views of the lake from all glass walls. The furniture is all wicker.
We tried the Zucchini flowers - shrimp tempura...the best dish we had on the trip. Even the dipping sauces are exquisite. Be sure to stop here for dinner - the best.
Also excellent cocktails are served both in the restaurant and outside in the front cafe along the lake. Amazing recipe on bruschetta, complimentary with the drinks. Try a Margarita cocktail, the best.
What is even better, if you are staying at the hotel a 10 % discount is given on the entire bill at dinner. Great value.
