Excellent food, beautiful setting on the lake
Reviewed By Nikhil_AdvaniHad a really great stay here for 3 nights over NYE. The room was spacious and in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and the food was excellent! It's a very peaceful place, great star show at night, and has all the amenities you'd expect for a safari lodge. It's very close to Kibale NP where we went chimp tracking, and a bit further to Semuliki, which we did a day trip to.

We hesitated going because of the distance but William called and asked to help, he was so polite that he made us really decide to come, he helped organise the crater and community tour. William and Nema together with the cook that made us the best dinners since we came to uganda add a perfect flavour to the view and make the experience worth it. They care soo much about little children. I will surely return. Thank you William and Nema and the very friendly cook whose name I didn’t get to know.

Reviewed By haraariIt was the best month of my life. They have the best facilities you could find in Europe, and the best of nature you can find in Africa. The staff is charming and always ready to help, the lake is huge, full of aquatic life (there are 2 hippos, and all kinds of freshwater creatures) you can also find all the birds from the area nesting in the trees, and terrestrial species , like vervet monkeys, that spend the day jumping from branch to branch. It is located at a strategic point, in the center of the triangle > Fort Portal (city) > Top of the world (mountain) and > kibale (forest of chimpanzees). Their guides will take you wherever you want to go, like visiting the Batua pygmies, seeing the banana and tea plantations, or the waterfalls and caves of Nyakasury. For all this and much more, Rweteera Safari park is the ideal accommodation to visit the area. Mozungu Motoro.

Terrible service and lack of care
Reviewed By Jamie TAlthough some of the food itself tasted good the quality of service from the staff was horrendous when it came to dealing with a food allergy (which was repeatedly mentioned at the order). When we asked for the dish that was served to be replaced , as it did contain the allergen, they picked out the food items themselves and tried to serve it again. When we confronted them about it they simply laughed about it and simply offered to serve plain rice instead. Our entire meal was delayed as a result and half the dishes ended up being cold when ate. No apology was made. Horrendous manners and a complete lack of care for their customers.

Reviewed By opuntia1Nous avons passé deux nuits dans une des rondavelles de cet hôtel. Hôtel très calme à l'écart du centre ville où l'on a très bien dormi. Les rondavelles sont bien aménagées avec douche et wc, plafond traditionnel en peau de vache pour isoler de l'extérieur. Le cuisinier peut vous faire à manger le soir si vous le prévenez le matin et il essaye vraiment de faire au mieux, le petit déjeuner est également copieux. En face de l'hôtel se trouve un grand jardin où on peut aller se promener ou s'asseoir. Un endroit qui gagne à être connu et dont le personnel est très sympathique.
