Reviewed By bos241En et dejligt lille hotel midt i byen. Kaffe på værelset var ikke helt varmt. Det er helt sikkert et sted vi kommer igen en anden gang. Det ligger tæt på havnen hvor der er gang i den i weekender. Værelser er vildt flotte. Og p plads lige ude bagved bagdøren til hotel.

Did not understand the room was without private toilet/bathroom upon booking - however in the hall with four of this place’ rooms, there was 2 bathrooms. Both very clean. Definitely great for a one night Ed or long stays. Just out the door down the stairs to the main street you’ll find Cafe Extrablatt perfectly adequate for all three meals of the day.

You have also a bathrobe and sleepers to use which was a nice detail. The only inconvenience is the lack of parking in the area but it was generally great.

Incredible story: Everything but customerfriendly!!!

Me and a friend wanted to do a biketrip from Belgium to Denmark in one route: that means more than 600km cycling, departing on Wednesday and finishing Thursday. Trough circunstances we couldn’t reach the final hour of checking in, that would be 9 o’clock pm so at 3 o’clock pm I phoned the hotel that it was going to be between 1 hour and 1,5 hour later but they refused to help me. I insisted and told our travelcircunstances but they did not show empathy and did not want to give a alternative solution. They did not want to give a compensation for the fact that I payed 2 nights in advance. The people who are allways saying that the client is the most important person, closed literally their doors. So we had to search quickly something in the neighborhood to find some place to sleep. Afterwards I tried to ask for a compensation trough them and trough booking. They said to booking.com that I would come at 11.30hours (that was a lie) and even so they said that I was not obeying the German law because I sent an email before with the question if a vaccination passport was needed for staying in the hotel. It was just a question and they painted me off like a rebel!!!!!????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly disappointed about the human behaviour of the hotel, I can’t describe the depth of my frustration.

Not for sleep after 7am
Reviewed By Joacim DThere is a kindergarten with loud children next door, and the rooms are very poorly soundproofed, so if you want to sleep longer than 7am you should look somewhere else. The rooms are nice and large though, with large bathrooms (we stayed in room 1). There was no air conditioning, and with 27 C outside, the room was too warm for a comfortable night. The house was a little bit hard to find with roadworks in a street leading to it, and the location is not exactly central, though there are som restaurants and fast food joints nearby. This guesthouse is cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.

A Wonderful Oasis of style, peace and tranquility

Stayed here in February over Valentines weekend and enjoyed the experience so much I can't wait to go back, every aspect of this place from the room, to the host/owner to the breakfast and location is absolutely perfect. Each of the rooms are beautifully individually decorated with their own style, colour and furnishings, we had the Cherry Room which was superb, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom stylish and the décor tasteful, a really lovely high end room and so peaceful. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and high quality, most of the items are produced either by the establishment themselves or sourced locally and was the perfect start to each day. The host is wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and really helped with local information, tips and suggestions on where to go and what to see in the local vicinity. There is free parking, free WIFI and even a lounge with an honesty bar plus Tea/Coffee available, I totally recommend the local Flensburg beer! :) Also, you buy homemade jam/marmalade, if available, don't leave without picking up a jar of the Calvados, delicious!! Overall, this all added up to the perfect Valentines weekend, I cannot recommend this place enough

Nice room, good bed, lovely staff and fantastic breakfast. Short distance to city. Good parking. We would love to come again.

Clean, friendly staff, perfect location
Reviewed By Shakira SWe got one of the apartments that they added/attached to the hotel. We brought our dog with us as well. The apartment was perfect in size and had a little kitchen (no stove). Its located near a little harbor where you can stroll on the boardwalk. Very nice. Because we like the outdoors we were very happy to be on a main road that led us to an easy drive towards different parcs where you can hike through woods or along the amazing beaches. The city centre is just 5 minutes by car. We glad that we got an apartment instead of a room in the hotel because it's not pleasant as none smokers to be in the hotel.as the owners smoke inside which makes the hotel reek of cigarette smoke. But all and all it was a very nice stay.
