Kortenberg (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈkɔrtə(m)bɛr(ə)x]) is a Belgian municipality located in the province of Flemish Brabant, about halfway between the cities of Brussels and Leuven. The municipality comprises the subdivisions or deelgemeenten of Erps-Kwerps, Everberg, Kortenberg proper and Meerbeek. On January 1, 2013 Kortenberg had a total population of 19,393. The total area is 34.52 km² which gives a population density of about 562 inhabitants per km². In the southern part of Everberg there is also a hamlet called Vrebos, while between Erps-Kwerps and Meerbeek there is another hamlet called Schoonaarde, which can be found in the proximity of the train station of Erps-Kwerps.

I had dinner in this restaurant, starting with 'kaaskroketten' ("cheese croquette"). Although the menu says 'kroketten', = plural, it was only one. My wife had a vegetable curry + rice and I selected the salmon. Both were tasty, the portion size was ok. Looking at what was served at other tables, I noted huge difference in amount of food/plate (Maybe you get more if you only order a main dish???)For desert, we had 'dame blanche' with hot chocolate. I was not such a fan of this desert, the ice was not bad, but certainly not wow.Overall: you can have a nice dinner here, but I think it was too expensive for what was served...

ArenbergDeserves more than the one Michelin star Really excellent faultless meal from the amuse Buche through to the dessert. Ma,y classic dishes mentioned on the degustation menu, such as Caesar salad, cannelloni, vol au vent, peach Melba, but all given such innovative creative twists they were unrecognisable compared to their uninspired namesakes. Fantastic my wife an I love Zorran. Super new years menu every year. But try Scampis Adria Scampi's wrapped in bacon delicious. Don't talk to me about the delicious chababchi chi sausages in a cheese sause. Then there are the delicious desserts mmmmmmmm

Ate here with a group of 14 colleagues for a team meeting dinner.We had to pre-chose our courses from a reduced menu, but the choices were very good and the restaurant adapted to additional specific dietary requirements.We had pre-dinner drinks and appetisers outside and the dinner in a private dining room.Every one attending thought the food, drinks and service was excellent. Overall a great dinner and would wholeheartedly recommend.
