The municipality comprises the villages of Blanden, Haasrode, Oud-Heverlee proper, Sint-Joris-Weert and Vaalbeek. On January 1, 2006, Oud-Heverlee had a total population of 10,863. The total area is 31.14 km² which gives a population density of 349 inhabitants per km².

I had a business lunch at this very imposing villa. We had mussels as a starter and a deliciously prepared fresh sea bass afterwards. We had a very smooth Verdicchio white wine. The owner is a very sympathetic Italian who loves to speak about his home country :-) I'll be back!

As frequent visitors of Leuven, this was our first experience in Gainsbourg. And what a night ! From 19.30 to 23.30 we enjoyed fantastic cocktails, great tapas plates to share, fantastique meat and grill plates to share, good and affordable wines, and ... a great service whit enthousiast chief and waiters. As starters we had very good entrecôte carpaccio, spanish ham and edamame. For our main course, we chose to go for the 4 steaks selection. Best choice was the Normany and the Rubia Galega. Steaks were correctly cooked and came with good fries and salad. Home made mayonaise could do with less pepper. Nice winelist, affordable choice. Count 75⬠p.p. Friendly service, but a bit slow. Came in at 19.00, steaks arrived at 20.45...

Nice restaurant near the old market place. There aren't many seats which makes the place even more cozy. We stayed on the terrace and enjoyed the good weather. We took the croquettes as starter and choose the meat plate. Combined with a good Belgian beer. Tasty combination! Service was good and prices were ok.

Going for a luncheon with old schoolfriends, and I knew the Faculty Club as a hotel, but didn't expect to discover a gastronomic restaurant overhere....Overall: very professional service, from welcoming,reception, to the waiting team.We had the 'business lunch' and I really felt pampered.With all attentions and/or dishes we got a top professional explanation from the "maitre" in charge of the service, really good!Quality of the food and accompanying wine was of top standards.This Faculty Club has great potentials in matters of meeting rooms, break out rooms, space for cocktails, weddings, briefly any type of event ! Even the parking facilities are well organised and available !Easy access !

We had the 5 course menu which was delicious. Chef did a great job in original combinations and presentation. Portions were quite small, but enough in the end. Service was really open and friendly, but sometimes in my opinion displayed some too direct/close behaviour/communication for this type of establishment. Overall recommended, but preferably in winter as they had no terrace (a petty in their green location). Please note their parking is limited to around 8 cars, so try to carpool if possible.Thank you very much for your fantastic review.We have a terrace for +-35 people but it is not all-ways open ......parking space is limited for 12 cars, but there is a public parking next to us for +-60 cars Hope to see you again The Bib team

Carrying a Michelin star, one expects high quality dishes and impeccable service. Both are present here but the environment is very sterile and modern, too much so for my liking. Food however and service are great, I just miss the personal touch.

After arriving 30 mins late for our reservation (so embarrassing) we were greeted with friendly faces and ushered into a beautiful, light-filled room overlooking the lake. No intolerant, po-faced wait staff here :) We had made a reservation an hour before and had not notified the kitchen that we were difficult eaters. We fully expected to dine on the set menu without any changes but when asked about any dietary restrictions, I did inform them that if at all possible, I would prefer to eat fish and not meat and that my husband did not eat fish and cheese. Instead of being frog-marched out of the restaurant we were delighted with our meals, which were ALL modified according to our individual requirements. The salmon I had was completely delightful and melted in the mouth. We were charmed by the easy-going, friendly staff, the food, the wines and the lovely scenery.

We had a table on the nice shady terrace. Food was marvelous, especially the langoustines, the tarte tatin and the succulent pigeon. Desserts are a must. Correct 1star level. Why not a perfect score: time in between the different courses was really long. Beautiful and affordable winelist. We had a perfect Domus Aurea.

After having lost contact, as they moved location, I found this beautiful italian restaurant again. The new location, in residential Kraainem area makes it easily accessible and you shouldn't have trouble for a parking spot. As before, nice and friendly staff, beautiful sober decoration, comfortable tables and the perfectly chosen atmosphere music make your stay rather enjoyable. Of course, the meal was as expected, prepared and served with class, tasty and portions where far substantial too. Happy to be back!
