The time to read the menu, we were offered an aperitif, an "improved", tasty Prosecco⦠Nice surprise. The choice of meals is large, each of our group of four found his preferred lunch. Light for ladies, heavier for men. I went for lentils with smoked pork knuckle. Unfortunately, the juicy piece of pork knuckle I was dreaming about appeared to be just few pieces of meat dropped on the lentils. The taste was nice but it was not what I expected. My friends largely enjoyed their meal. Which was promptly served, no long waiting time to see first food arriving. At the end we were offered a Grappa or Limoncello. With winter outside, hard to refuse... Overall a positive experience, booking in advance for the lunch time is strongly recommended in this offices area.

My wife and I come here regularly with our daughter. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The steak is recommended as it is cooked just how you like it and is so tender.The new menu has many other delights for you to try. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to sample the delights of Sicilian cooking at La Perla. Well done to Ivan, Roberta and Ben. This is a small and deservedly busy restaurant. Booking in advance is advised. As a first course I had delicious soup with pasta. The main course of swordfish was superbly cooked and bursting with flavour. The strawberry tart was a perfect conclusion to the meal. As you might expect the wine selection is extensive and of very high quality. The best restaurant I have found in the city.

Finally we found a real (Sicilian) Italian restaurant that doesn't alter the dishes to suit Belgian tastes.Enthousiast chef and crew, impressive winelist, menu geared towards fish an daily specials explained in detail.They buy their tuna and pesce spada wholesome: almost better than in Italy as a matter of fact.I cannot think of a better one in a radius of 50 km!

Wow, this place was great...AGAIN! It was my second visit here in 2018 and this time was just as good or better. The owner showed us real hospitality throughout the dinner. My friend ordered something he wasnât crazy about and the owner brought something else just so he would be pleased! What great ownership! For appetizer I had smoked burrata with grilled veges. For entre I had the squid ink spaghetti with red tuna tartare again) and it was absolutely fantastic. For dessert the caprese chocolate cake (amazing!). House recommended red wine (donât remember name) as well as espresso with dessert truly excellent too. I will be coming back if I get to visit Brussels a 3rd time!

While there are quite some Italian restaurants in the neighbourhood, this one offers an authentic taste. The homemade pasta is super and they offer some dishes like my slow-cooked suckling pig which are not easily found elsewhere. Both the owner cum chef as well as the waiter are Italian. Worth trying!

A family restaurant. Home made pasta made with Love. The most delicious tasting pasta I have ever had. Silvana the daughter gave her recommendations which included two specials her mother makes in the kitchen. Tonight a black squid with shrimp and a porcini with spec. My husband and I shared both and loved every bite. We finished the meal with tiramisu...delish!
