This is a cute and cozy cafe with views of the river. They have live music during the day and evening.

Fenghuang Ancient Town is a busy and fascinating Chinese domestic tourist destination. It does not cater to many westerners.
If you need a break from struggling with Chinese scripted menus in unusual restaurants and want to eat a semblance of western food, then this is the place. There aren't many in Fenghuang.
Breakfast was ok. Great, if you haven't eaten western for weeks, like us. We were thrilled. We succumbed to pasta for dinner. It was fine. Nothing special, but a treat after so long on the road.
The seats by the windows, overlooking the river, are wonderful. You can soak up the whole atmosphere of this terrific town just by watching the world along the river shore.

Recommended by local people to go to this place for dinner. The first day, this restaurant is occupied by local wedding ceremony and not available for outside guests. We went the second day for lunch. The food is good with some local Miao minority food and Hunan Xiang Xi food. We ordered six plates for our group of five people and found out that the food is delicious and the price is reasonable the same price with local roadside restaurant we had for dinner yesterday. So we decided to go back for dinner at this restaurant again. And we are not disappointed with the taste and quality of the food.
The restaurant itself has three storeys and the third floor is with few small private rooms that is good for us to stay away from the Chinese smoking during lunch or dinner.
If you walk from HongQiao bridge to Hongqiao middle road, this restaurant is a three storeys building with Chinese decoration on the left hand side before you will arrive the West Gate of Fenghuang ancient town.
