Fantastic experience
Reviewed By adrianopW4637BHWe've just visited the Böhmerwald Hotel in Warzenried for a week with our 2 little girls and it was a great experience. We've got a family suite and the room was gigantic: 2 bathrooms (one with shower and the other with a massive bath), 2 bedrooms, a living room and a great balcony with a beautiful view facing the sunset. There is nothing super fancy but everything was comfortable and clean. The only thing we were missing in the room was a fridge but as we went at the end of October, it was enough leaving our drinks and fruits in the balcony as the weather outside was cold enough. The staff was incredibly friendly and very attentive. We felt very much at home. Breakfast was very complete and the "lunch snack" was a proper meal. Dinner was always delicious and we could always choose from a menu the day before. We even had a Hog Roast one evening. Amazing stuff. The kids always had a buffet just for themselves. There were also always vegetarian options and a large salad buffet. The hotel has also a swimming pool, sauna and wellness. For the kids it was like paradise: Play room near the restaurant, a very large playground, petting zoo with rabbits, horses, goats and alpacas. There is also Childcare available. The Böhmerwald Hotel is also very well located as it is quite close to Czech Republic and there are also plenty of activities to do with the kids in the whole region. We felt very welcome there and I'm looking forward for a next visit.

Great Food and Excellent Place To Stay
Reviewed By Brades1966We recently stayed at Gasthof Altmann as part of a golf weekend in nearby Furth im Wald. We were 18 people in total with a broad age band and differing ‚culinary needs‘. Not a single complaint or issue came my way, except maybe the WiFi connection (which meant the youngsters had to sleep earlier ?). The owners were extremely helpful and friendly which is always nice!. 18 meals were served and 18 very clean plates say it all about the food. Rooms were very clean, nice size and beds were comfortable. All in all a very nice overnight stay and if we play in Furth im Wald again i would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed By Peter GAlles was man braucht findet man hier, nette Gastgeber, saubere Zimmer, einen gemeinschaftlichen Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche und Balkon und man ist sofort im Grünen. Die Lage im Wohngebiet ist sehr ruhig . Jederzeit gerne wieder. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Super Aufenthalt
Reviewed By TiNi3721Der Hof ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Nur 1 km von der tschechischen Grenze mit 2 Nachbarhöfen. Die Gastgeberin Resi ist sehr herzlich und kümmert sich super um ihre Gäste. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und hübsch hergerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde in einem hübschen Raum serviert. Die Ferienwohnungen versorgen sich selbst, man kann Brötchen bestellen. Wir hatten aber ein Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück. Es gab jeden Morgen Milch von den eigenen Kühen, frische Brötchen und Brot, Aufschnitt, Marmelade, Müsli, Joghurt und eine Obstschale. Der Kaffee war etwas dünn aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Auf dem Hof kann man sich Reiten. Eine Reitstunde kostet 12.-, die Lehrerin ist super nett und kennt sich gut aus. Für 2 Nächte haben wir ca. 120.- gezahlt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
