It lies on the east bank of the Carrick Roads, a large waterway created after the Ice Age from an ancient valley which flooded as the melt waters caused the sea level to rise dramatically, creating an immense natural harbour, often claimed to be the third largest in the world. It was once a busy fishing port, but the trade declined during the 20th century and it now serves as a popular tourist location, with many properties in the town functioning as holiday accommodation. The town is in the civil parish of St Just in Roseland.

First time and good impressions. Clean establishment and friendly and attentive staff. The menu warns if a meal is hot, medium or sweet. Take note. I chose a medium lamb dish which was a little too bland. Overall though good quality food.

Situated just past Trago this Indian did a tasty Biryani but the texture was a bit soggy compared to the Ganges in Truro where they do an excellent Biryani. Food prices average but the drinks are expensive as were the condiments and poppadoms Car parking is not easy in Falmouth, big one down by the harbour, pay & display.

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriendâs family, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was delicious, as were the myriad of inventive cocktails on offer at the bar. There was a lovely atmosphere and the whole place is beautifully decorated, with very helpful and friendly staff. I have many food allergies and Jasmine was brilliant at accommodating them, making sure nothing was contaminated (we contacted her in advance). Would definitely go back if Iâm here again and would highly recommend!

Came for a family birthday and I could not fault the service or food.We were put in an alcove bit of the restaurant so it was private. All the staff were very attentive.Nothing to much trouble.When next in falmouth we will defenatly be going back

We went sure what we wanted to eat then saw the Balti Curries sign and thought we would give it a try.The pickles that came with the papadums were a bit disappointing especially the mango which was very runney and no pieces of mango.My wife had a lamb sagwala and I had a lamb jalfrezi with a nan and rice to share.As with most British and European curry houses they cook the meat in a pressure cooker then add it to the spiced gravy Having said that we both found our dishes very tasty.When the bill came the were complementary Baileys type drink and a chocolate and if that wasn't enough my wife was presented with a red rose.So all in all a good tasty meal at a reasonable cost.

The reception and front of the restaurant is nice, atmospheric with an authentic feel to it - move further back and its like they've moved you into the cheep seats, which is where we were situated - It feels unfinished - However the menu looks good, although not cheep, there a number of interesting chefs specials to separate the restaurant from the normal Thai fayre - The food was pretty good and plentiful and the service attentive without being oppressive - There is real potential here!

We ate here one Saturday early evening. We were seated upstairs in the corner. The tables were located rather closely together and the sun was streaming in the window making the place v hot, so we asked to move, no problem. Our order was taken fairly quickly by the charming lady owner and the food was wonderful. Especially the Green Chicken Curry. However, the serving staff consisted mainly of youngsters who seemed to be on the job training and nearly served our food to an adjacent table.Although the food was some of the best Thai food we have ever eaten there was not a particularly great ambiance in the restaurant.We descended the stairs to pay at the front desk. Everything was in chaos. The owner was working like a one arm paper hanger. She was stood behind the counter trying to add up several orders which were laid out on the table in front of her, while ushering new guests in, shouting out orders to the kitchen and directing the serving staff who were rushing up and down the stairs!She located our order and then proceeded to bash out prices on a calculator and give us our bill. Very different to anything we have experienced before but not in a bad way. Almost like a sketch out of Little Britain! Most entertainingCan highly recommend the food.
