Flavio's has always been great for daytime breakfasts, lunches, snacks or coffee and pastries but it now opens 5 evenings a week for supper. The menu choices are excellent and the food freshly prepared and delicious. We've eaten here twice in the last few weeks including a birthday celebration and will be returning soon.

Upon arrival I was instantly disappointed as the barista working clearly didnât want to be there, as there was no acknowledgement from her as we stood waiting to be served. It wasnât busy Iâve seen it busier when Ive previously been in on separate occasions. The barista on shift made us feel unwelcome and acted and had attitude like it was too much effort to make the drinks.Her customer service skills need improving. Iâm not sure on your staff smoking policy but I was horrified to have driven past later in the day to see this young girl stood in full uniform in the doorway puffing away chatting on the phone. I understand this is her break but maybe there needs to be a staff smoking area out the back ? As customers donât need to be seeing this and doesnât give of the most inviting look.

Quick friendly service as visited morning on Monday 12/03/18. Nice breakfast for me and my wife which we both enjoyed. Price is a little steep thou. Friendly staff all round. Would visit again for a breakfast only downside is other customers who visit cause an issue within the cafe which isnât the cafes fault as business is business. As on our visit some other customers caused too much noise which disturbs your visit to eat.

Had lunch with Mum on busy Saturday in August. Servers wouldnât even make eye contact, let alone smile or offer a menu. We didnât know is it was table service, but guessed not as waited ages. Ordered at bar and when food came, my mums dish was so over microwaved it was too hard to even eat. My goats cheese salad was just a couple of slabs of cold goats cheese and some garnish. Not what I would call a salad and the sun dried tomatoes were too tough to cut. All in all a pretty poor effort and staff who couldnât care less. Donât bother going here for anything other than coffee.

We recently discovered this lovely little coffee shop and will definitely be going back. It was nice to place our order on arrival but then to be served at the table, so no waiting in a queue (as in Costa). The coffee was delicious and on leaving I could see that the sandwiches (made freshly on ordering) looked very tempting. We will be back another day.

Had a lunch here on a weekday with my wife and we will certainly return. I had the Reuben sandwich - generous size portion. This is a good alternative to Bakedd and much better value

Wow wonderful afternoon, tea summer really started for my friends and I last week sitting out on a hot afternoon in April! . The court yard garden was Beautiful with flowers and fragrance three of us had afternoon tea made up of salmon , cheese pickle,ham sandwiches scones with clotted cream butter and jam followed by Tiny cakes and tarts.My other friend had the vegateran gluten free option which looked delicious Amazing quality and presentation all for £12.50 we were so full none of us could eat anything else that day and leftovers were received by family

My partner & I used to visit this cafe for breakfast, maybe once a month. The waitress would always remember us and what we ordered. we used to enjoy the experience and the food was pretty good too.However, the experience last Saturday has put me off completely. Firstly, despite the cafe being almost empty, we were waiting far too long for breakfast to be served. The waitress (was different staff this time) came over to apologise for the delay and asked us if we'd like more coffee.Breakfast was then served, smaller portions than normal...and when we came to pay, they had added an extra £5 to the bill to cover the extra coffee. I feel like we've been conned.O'Neill's is now the place to go!Dear Mark D I am very sorry that your experience last Saturday did not live up to expectations, and that sadly we fell short I must also profusely apologise for you being charged for the extra coffees that were supposed to be on the house.I will be more than happy to discuss this with you , and I can be contacted at [email protected] if you wish to do so.RegardsGeoff

Stood queing at the counter for five minutes whilst one person made coffee and another one cleared tables.The lady clearing tables then came to the counter,ignored me and went to serve two guys who'd very clearly just come to the counter a minute previously, so I left.No..it didn't.But it will!
