Family booked the Carriage Hall on 05/07/2019, for under 180 guests..Weather was glorious, so able to sit outside in the lovely grounds.Staff attentive, well organised and welcoming.They catered for me as a Vegan and my food selection was delicious.Great selection of teas and coffee upon arrival in lovely white China cups.Tables laid out nicely again with crisp white linen.Food selection for others in attendance didnât appear to go down well. A few were left disappointed but you canât suit everyone.Plates cleared away promptly by staff.I would recommend the Carriage Hall, just think they should consider catering a hot and cold buffet selection, something hopefully management will consider in the future. The cocktail masterclass was so much fun and such good value for money. We got lots of booze included and played games. Matt was brilliant. He went above and beyond to make sure that we all enjoyed ourselves and had great banter. He needs a pay rise!!! Thank you to the whole team :) I would definitely recommend. Ps. I am a student at the university of Nottingham. The rose and crown is in Nottingham. That is convenient. I go to the rose and crown. In fact, I drink beer there. The staff are great. They can even remember long orders without writing it down. Very commendable. I like the rose and crown. I think you would too. I recommend the rose and crown for everyone between the ages of 18 and 100. Thatâs because anyone under 18 isnât legal and nobody in Nottingham lives to be over 100. Internet search and this popped up! Absolutely great find. Is a basement restaurant and has trendy minimalistic decor. The food is great and the drink selection was fantastic. And what is more........live music - a guy and guitar who really was very talented. Loved that....could have stayed and listened for longer with drinks if didn't have a little one who needed her bed! Really recommend. Sorry Annie's ........ Bohns is better!

Our Hen Party on Sat 7th Sept was a fantastic night of fun,laughter,drinking and dancing,Bistro Live in Nottingham is a fantastic place to go for a part night out,the food was hot and delicious,well organized table service,the staff were friendly and so helpful,the DJ was brilliant as the music was varied and he did special requests,the dance floor was always full of happy dancers,we all will certainly go back,we highly recommend you visit and see for yourself.Thank you so much for this incredible review! Found the place on Trip Advisor! Grabbed the last available table when we got there, staff were very quick and efficient! Didnât take long for our food to turn up which was delicious!! Cozy little cafe away from the centre but only a 10min walk, great atmosphere. definitely return.

I have no idea where to start. The whole experience is amazing. We arrived and were greeted by Sat and a warm chocolate brownie!The staff are polite, smart, attentive and brilliant. Our room, (room 8) was AMAZING, beautiful attention to detail.The grounds are lovely and you can watch the chefs picking micro herbs for dinner, it is an amazing set up.The bar area, although small is so lovely, it is like being in your own home, the staff, again are exceptional.Dinner... WOW... amazing amazing amazing.... such talent in the kitchen and the waiting staff are so knowledgeable. Zak who served our wine pairing was great.. he clearly loves his job xBreakfast....AM AZ ING.. the place is fabulous, no airs and graces, the owner is so down to earth and chats to everyone. It is so refreshing to go to a fabulous establishment, owned and run by normal, lovely people.We will definitely be back to see the Chief and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, the whole experience is brilliant. Some confusion with the Groupon voucher meant we ordered 2 courses but still had to pay for our desserts as the Groupon was for starter and main only, not main and dessert. Disappointing as we told the waitress when we arrived that we had the 2 course Groupon and ordered our food and nothing was said until our bill arrived. We didn't have the starters that were included but still charged for the desserts. The food wasn't great, the burger tasted gristly. Ice cream sundaes were very basic. Quite disappointed after reading the great reviews and won't return.We are sorry you were disappointed. Unfortunately it states on the terms and conditions on the Groupon site and also on the voucher what is included in the deal and that it can not be exchanged for anything else without a surcharge being paid. We are sorry you didn't enjoy the food and hope you reconsider about trying us again
