Nice place to try Yemeni food, especially for families. Lots of Yemeni places are just for men in Al Ahsa, but this is in Al Othaim mall so it's open for all. Good prices and fast service, plus it's a nice change of pace from the standard fast food.

The mixed seafood grilled especially the lobster with a freshly sweetness taste was delicious, and the lamb steak was okay. My friends love the variety of desserts and fruit juices. The service crews were exuberant, respectful, and they quickly served our order. However, I was not impressed of the ambience.

During causal visit to Hassa, we visited safron rest.We orderd Indian talassery style Mutton Biriyani, and Fish biriyani with Side dishes as Mix Grill with Hummous and green salads.Really awesome taste. Hotel Ambiance and staffs are very nice. Foods are having traditional taste and good preparation. recommending for family

I do not want to add too many details here, but you only need to know that what made my stay at the Intercontinental Al Ahsa deviate to an average experience from an otherwise good experience was - Ofcourse - "Silk Road".The food here is OK, but the service is super poor.....Gosh...there is an open conflict between the guy who takes the order and the cooks there.....it is all in the open.The restaurant was busy as I was here for dinner,but common, you need to be professional and need to give the guest the time to place the order and go through some of the options he/she is interested in, before we actually place the order. YOU CANNOT RUSH YOUR GUEST JUST BECASUE YOU R BUSY.....CAN YOU??!!!!Intercontinental Al Ahsa is a great place to stay and for me what dragged down my experience negatively was "SILK ROAD".....Please fix your servide standrads....what good is having good food if your service is below PAR!!!!Cheers,Syed M. I can tell you that the food is far off being authentic Lebanese food especially when it comes to fattoush and salads... The food is less than average and the service is poor..One of the nice places that I believe should be worked on to become better! It is very pricey for the quality provided..
