I visited the place many times in the past, it was a fine family restaurant with tasty dishes. Lately i discovered that the place has been transformed to a smoking restaurant. There were kids in the area and many clients were smoking like everything ok. The two story building is very small with few windows and you hardly breath if somebody smokes.I will never go there again!!!

This place resembles the region completely - like the time has stopped and one is experiencing the living history of the region. The service is very friendly, competent, not so fast and expertise, but it is not important here. We had beautiful fresh fish - red mullet 3 peace for 27 euro, stuffed calamari with feta cheese for 13 euro and spaghetti with tomato sauce for 7 euro. The fish was very fresh, the calamari delicious and the spaghetti, according to my daughter - ever best. The place is next to the port nice view to the water and has a very, very specific, warm atmosphere. The wifi is very fast - unusual for the region. They have no meat in the menu.

Not the best food in town but it has a very good view of the city . They have small portions but the disappointment was the desert that I took a picture because it was ridiculous....

This is the second time that i visited this tavern. We went early enough, in relevance to the time Greek people eat launch, in order to find a spot, as the tavern does not make reservations on Sundays nor National Holidays. We were lucky enough to find a place to sit. Everything was as great as i remembered. The surrounding area, the decoration, the great atmosphere.Luckily we remembered some of the great dishes that we ate the previous time, but we also selected some new. The portions were big enough, and gorgeous.We were six people, and we ordered six portions along with the appetizers, but we finally were unable to finish all of our food. Luckily, the staff was very helpful and packed our leftover portions for take away.Overall, everything was great, we had an amazing time, and i will definatelly visit again.

Nice environment and friendly staff. Although there is a no smoking sign, smoking is allowed inside!No cooked dishes , nothing local, just roasted meat which you can find everywhere! The salads were also average. Very good chocolate cake, though!

We went there for a dinner during our one evening visit to Xanthi and it was very nice.Located at the square good for people watching. Food was traditional and good and the service was very friendly, although the guy didn't speak English well.Although it located at the very busy place, I had to ask locals where it was because a table with the name was not displayed.Recommended!

Recommended. A Greek restaurant with traditional cuisine and international additions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We tried sauteed potatoes with mushrooms and bacon, smashed cheese with red pepper, the house salad, chicken soup, for main dishes: beef meat and aubergine and wild boar with wild rice. It offers very good value for money. Complementary they offered for dessert ekmek-kantaìfi and a sented liqueur. We enjoyed everything very much.
