no hesitation, I would certainly go back, actually I did already a couple of times - no nonsense brasserie with good price/value choice of dishes and friendly service ... will go back and back ... lots of parking spaces as it's located on the main square

Interesting and diverse menu, with a few well thought out wild game entrees. These include wild caught venison, Scottish partridge and pheasant which are in season at this time.Lovely protected country estate that has been converted into an upscale restaurant and two guest rooms. Upgrades have kept the charm of the property. Enjoyed the venison this evening which was accompanied by a brocoli di rape, with an amuse bouche to start that consisted of the chef's own sausage creation. The amuse bouche was topped off by a wicked carrot and mint relish that played off the sausage perfectly. Venison was encrusted in a rustic mustard, cooked rare, very tender and tasteful. Paired with a Montepulciano wine that worked well.

If you like fresh, tasty ingredients, prepared in an excellent way, with a very friendly service, in a small restaurant with enough space between the tables to guarantee privacy, this is the place to go. In Summer, they also have a couple of tables outside, giving on the cobble stone alley just off grote markt.Do make reservations for Friday- and Saturdaynights especcially.Highly recommended.

Achteraan deze alledaagse rijwoning bevind zich een ruim terras met spectaculair zicht op de Scheldevallei Zeer verrassend qua setting ..... WOW. Mooi aanbod op de kaart qua spijs en drank, eveneens geserveerd van "goed" tot "zeer goed". Oestertjes als hapje waren zeer welkom. Aanbod van non-alcoholische dranken werd geapprecieerd. Attente en druk zijnde uitbaters, bedienend personeel heeft steuntje in de rug nodig. Ik kom zeker terug !!!Een aanrader, een ontdekking.

We celebrated a family event here, and had a fixed meal option, which was adapted to the dietary needs of two of the participants. The restaurant is run by a couple, and we were geven an excellent service. Beautifully presented dishes, excellent food. Modern interior, lovely garden for the Summer. The only minus is the location away from the city centre.

Amazing and savoury lunch for a group of 16 people which is always more difficult. Tasty carpaccio without the usual synthetic truffle oil. Delicious and juicy pintade. Magnific dessert. Very gentle staff.

Husband and wife team. Outstanding, professional and very friendly service. Nice spacey place with a superb outdoors space where you can have a drink and have coffee. All dishes were very well executed and tasted great. Had a very nice conversation with the chef at the end of the lunch. These guys deserve all of our support. Highly recommended.

Nice little cosy decorated restaurant. Friendly staff. Some of the dishes were a little bit too salty for my taste (carpaccio and codfish) but enjoyed them anyway. Overall I was positively surprised by this new discovery.
