Management Is Missing A Golden Opportunity
Reviewed By michaelpU3607VMI want to start by saying that the location of this place cannot be duplicated by any other hotel along the shoreline in between Hoi An & Da Nang. This property has unlimited potential, but it is really rundown. We had scheduled a stay in June, 2021 for two weeks, but had the trip cut short by a week due to Covid. We returned in March, 2022 to utilize the unused week. I mention this because the lady that was running the resort in the summer of 2021 went above and beyond to accommodate us during an unusual time. She no longer worked there when we went back in March of 2022. During our most recent trip we arrived at the resort a little later than expected due to a flight issue. We were escorted to our ocean view villa late on a Saturday night. The power to the villa was not on, which told me that they hadn’t done anything to the room in preparation for our arrival. We ended up sharing the room with cockroaches and an army of ants around the bathroom vanity and bathtub. The towels were so rough from being rolled up and left in the room for what I can only imagine was a significant period of time. The private pool had a light dangling by a wire inside the water. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the TV wouldn’t even turn on (yes, it was plugged in). The beach was full of trash, which shouldn’t be the case considering it’s private for Le Belhamy guests. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but the restaurant area was completely empty during our short stay. From the time we stepped foot into our room on Saturday evening, we did not see or hear from any employees until we checked out Monday afternoon. We cut our stay short by five days due to all of the conditions that I listed. The older security gentleman out front is one of the nicest guys. He was always very friendly to myself and my children. I stand by what I said earlier about the amount of potential this place truly possesses. Even with all of the big names moving in along this shoreline, Le Belhamy has the grounds that can’t be duplicated. Respectfully, until management makes a commitment to being better it’s best to find another hotel to stay at.

Reviewed By 257alidThis was a great place to stay - beautifully appointed and clean. Lovely spacious room with air conditioning, comfortable bed and en suite shower, toilet etc The hostess Dzung picked me up from Da Nang train station herself even. Nothing was too much trouble. Simple breakfast included in the price. You can borrow pedal bikes for free here too or rent motorbikes. It is nearly 7km from Hoi An ancient town, but pretty flat most of the way (I prefer to cycle). The tours I did in Hoi An were both great at arranging to pick me up and drop me off afterwards too. And it is walking distance from the beach though I didn’t make it as my time here was too short! Highly recommended.

Reviewed By jjbaker00This Hoi An Homestay has a customer for life. There are many things to say but I'll start from the beginning. On arrival I found the room itself to be very comfortable, well decorated and exactly as you would hope. This and it being one of the closest family owned Homestays to Ha My beach made the accommodation absolutely ideal. Ha My beach is beautiful and yet - during my stay - it did not seem to have many visitors, giving it a sense of seclusion that was very pleasant. There is a family owned beach restaurant that serve you whilst you relax and take in the ocean view. They have deck chairs, modest tables and umbrellas. Not uncommon and yet I was really impressed with the layout, the seating is spread out so much so that you could have an almost private beach dining experience. After getting a morning coffee at the beach and catching up on some reading you might return to the homestay for some truly delicious food. I've eaten here at least once per day after my arrival (and would recommend the fish caramel steamed rice) the food being so tasty and well priced. They also do a lovely fresh ginger tea that I've had multiple times per day, during my stay here. Now it is my pleasure to review the host and his family, what an absolute joy it has been to spend time in their company. I am so grateful to Thoan for what I'm sure, is not an uncommon occurrence here in Hoi An. I fell off my scooter whilst breaking to avoid collision (they don't look both ways here so beep beep beep) and injured both arms. After a long and arduous return journey Thoan looked after me, giving me a bowl of ice for each arm. After the swelling had gone down he went completely out of his way, driving me to an out of hours doctors clinic. There he sat with me for over an hour whilst I waited to be seen, telling the doctor and nurses what happened and translating for me. After finally being seen I was given two injections and some medication for the pain. When I was unable to raise myself from the bed he lifted me from the chest and we shared a couple of laughs, since I was now an invalid. Thoan then drove me back and a fish caramel steamed rice was already on the stove, my usual. I am blessed, very grateful and I can't thank you enough. I look forward to seeing you again and next time, I'll rent a car instead! :)

There are obvious obvious :-) factors in a homestay like : cleanness, location, food, facilities, flowers, plants, hammocks, the BLUE light in your room, comfy mattress to sleep on, the industrial design> especially the bathroom. Those are the the things you can buy however, this place > this HOMEstay < has much more, and this more is priceless. You won’t feel anonymous here, you will be taken care of and the family will offer their unpretentious warmth ... curiosity even if you get into a conversation and feel like making friends there. I will always visit them when in Hoi An. Ms. Snow ❄️ has her Spa nearby ... give it a go, the coffee scrub or stone massage is greatly relaxing ?
