We went to Dazaifu on 15 April 2016 for half-a-day trip.
Found this place on Tripadvisor and decided to go there for lunch.
Ordered 4 sets of food, all tasted awesome and not on expensive side.
They have a dessert made of grilled sticky rice with mashed red bean inside, only 120 yen, must try.

Probably the best ramen in Fukuoka. Definitely a must-try for visitors to the city. Any of the three types they offer are good. If you're new to ramen I recommend having your noodles as "katamen"... Meaning firm noodle tenderness.

This store has special pentagon shaped ramen bowl, where if you drink all the soup, you'll see the passed text at the bottom of the bowl.
The store is right next to the Dazaifu station but it is a small branch. So you have to queue before reaching to the vending machine.
Inside the store the usual Ichiran privacy separaters could be folded back.
All in all it's not special compared with other Ichiran branches, just a different bowl shape. If given the choice, go to tge bigger branches to avoid queueing time.

Came here on the New Year Day. Many people are lining for the traditional snack, "plum cake" here while this restaurant apparently had the longest line. The snack's taste actually has nothing to do with plum. The name originates from a historical anecdote that a senior lady passed the cake to a prisoned ancient scholar with plum tree's stick to prevent him from starving to death.
The main ingredients are red bean and rice. Unlike many other Japanese snacks, plum cake is adequately sweet. People who don't have sweet teeth may give it a try as well.

全体的に甘味が濃い中華料理屋でした。地元の人の好みに合わせてる？といった感じ。ランチだと５品から2品を選ぶ千円ランチがお得そうで選びましたが、友人と計４品、別々のものを頼んでみましたが、どれも「本物ではないけど、まあまあおいしい」レベルでした。安いので家族などでくる分には十分な満足感を得られると思いますが、ホテルや専門店での味を期待してくると落胆です。リサーチ不足でした。

This restaurant serving Japanese food with original style,really excellent taste with comfortable atmosphere surrounding. Also sake is fine. This the one of restaurants in Dazaifu you must try.

これまで大抵アサイチで行ってたのですが、今回久しぶりに行くので気が緩んでいたのか（笑）３０分ほど経って行ったら待ちでした･･(T_T)温泉に入るほどでもなかったので待ちましたが、待つ甲斐があるほど相変わらずビュッフェの内容が充実しています。お野菜もたくさん食べれるし、手打ちのお蕎麦も美味しい♪スイーツもお料理も工夫が凝らしてあって内容が変わるので飽きません（＾＾）
