Reviewed By blaisec994Usually people choose jungle type lodges, but this is more modern and should be as it is new. The rooms are large and well lit. The in room wifi strong. The lawns are nice to have a chill dinner with group of friends, the food is good. They also have indoor games. Nice place for a family or group. Ofcourse you will not get the jungle experience

There is a common dining area(Gol ghar) made of thatched bamboo, where homely, mouth-watering food is served. There is a wide variety to pick from. The resort not only has its exquisite scenery but also provides various activities for the tourists to engage in such as river rafting, coracle ride, jungle safari, birdwatching, nature walk and a trip to Syntheri Rock. These activities add on to the knowledge about the jungle. Overall it is hospitable and the staff’s kindness, generosity and utmost care make you feel at home.

Magenta Resort Dandeli is set in a woodland near the Kali river. There are 10 lakeside cottages, 7 cottages amongst the gardens and 10 tent rooms. The bedroom is large with an attached shower/wc room. Luxurious tent rooms in our resort will make you feel like a royal. Each cottage has a front terrace or balcony and around the lake, we have sun-loungers and a shaded restaurant that serves authentic Indian food. Century Resort Dandeli is the only resort in dandeli with a swimming pool and has various activities like kayaking, coracle ride, ziplining, target shooting, archery shooting, burma bridge, lake swimming, camp fire, swimming pool , nature walk, birds watching, jungle safari and river rafting. This property is under forest and beside the kali river. The amenities and facilities are the best in class. The environment is suitable for family, friends and corporates.

Reviewed By Senior-at72I visited this place to have a peaceful holiday with my wife in the jungle. Initially I booked for 3 days. After we checked in, we found this place is just something what we were looking for. It is situated amidst western ghats in a think jungle Inside It has full lush greenery around, well maintained lawn around the pool which made the whole atmosphere cool. The food served was of excellent quality. Rajesh is a main chef here and has very good culinary skills. We stayed in Maharaja Tent which was well maintained. The staff were very cordial. Rohit the resort manager looked after us very well and he has maintained the property well. Kali river point near the resort is breath taking. The river water hurriedly gushing through the rocks makes such a wonderful sound that we went spellbound. Lakshman, who use to take us around every day to morning walks through jungle has very good knowledge of different migratory birds nesting in this jungle. He also educated us on different types of trees which attract different birds We were so much awestruck by the beauty of this place and the delicious food that we cancelled our initial plan of visiting some other places and we extended our say by 3 more days. We being senior citizens, all staff took very good care of us. We felt like they are our extended family We returned with lots of beautiful memories and decided to visit this place again with other family members. If you are planning to visit Dandeli , this place is must stay destination in Dandeli

Not worth a penny. OVER PRICED
Reviewed By TravelDiariesbyRayWe booked a room through their official website, to begin with, the reservation team (Khushi) was not at all enthusiastic to reserve for us despite several phone calls. Once we reached, we noticed there is NO MOBILE RECEPTION OR WI-FI. The rooms were in average condition, no stopper in bathtub, stained linen, no proper amenities, indoor games in pathetic condition, swimming pool very dirty with algae on the inner walls and floor, it seemed that the filtration plant has not been used for weeks together. Basic amenities such as hot water and toiletteries were not provided. When we insisted on hot water, they gave us an immersion heater and asked us to fill the bucket in our room and carry it to the bathroom. The river at the end of property was STINKING OF SEWAGE water released in it (it seemed like that). The staff was courteous but despite being aware of the issues faced by all guests over the time, they didn't work on maintaining their quality. On top of it, the staff had the audacity to request us to give a good review. The food was good. The chef was humble and well spoken. In one line : it seemed like their sole purpose is to overcharge and loot the guests. Thoroughly disappointed. Owner cares two hoots as long as he is busy counting his daily collection money.

But Murli and his team supported us and made feel us so comfortable that we felt like its our farm house. Very well behaved staff. very professional and humble people. Madhuavan Home Stay is at Virnoli hamlet in the midst of Dandeli. Wildlife sanctuary and early in the morning one be awakened with song of birds.
Nice outer atmosphere but the food is worst and not worth.

If you to want experience the stay in the midst of nature, this would be a good place for a day or two at max. Camp fire, walks, and huts are the attraction. It would be good if the hosts care about the food they serve for the price they charge.
