We wanted an authentic Greek meal and were impressed by menu. The waiters were attentive throughout our meal, making us feel very welcome. Although we didn't order a starter we were brought a beetroot dip with bread which was delicious. My husband ordered the lamb kleftiko and I had the beef stifado. Both meals were amazing. The meat was melt in the mouth and delicious, we couldn't fault it. At the end of the meal we were given chunks of watermelon and a mystery liqueur. A fabulous meal at a great price....give it a go.

Ordered garlic bread and stuffed mushrooms for starters. Had either feta and spinach or tomatoes and bacon. Hubby actually said i don't like feta so we'll have the other one. When it came it was smothered in cheese and was stuffed with feta! I did ask if they had given us wrong one but it wasnt. They did offer to change it but we didn't bother. The garlic bread was awful too, was like like overdone dry toast with no garlic whatsoever! Mains were ok but nothing special. I won't be rushing back to Milos im afraid!!Dear Trish,we are sorry that you had a unpleasant experience at our taverna. The mushroom-feta incident occurred because one waiter explained the dishes and another took the order. So the second one didn't know that you mentioned to the first that you didn't want feta. Since we offered to make you a new one without feta and you refused it seems you did bother after all and it feels somewhat unfair to complain afterwards. Anyway sorry also that our dishes didn't meet your taste. We are a bit disappointed thought , that you forgot to mention how your Hubby got a slice of cake with a candle as dessert from us, when you mentioned it was his B-day beforehand.Wish you all the best, and enjoy your holiday.

We always call for a drink here on the way back from the beach, we have eaten too and the food is great! Maria always makes us feel welcome! Itâs on the quieter road to the beach adjacent to the Strip, worth looking for.

One of, if not, the best places I have ever eaten. I visited twice in my 10 nights in Malia and both times were perfect. The service, the food, everything. Even the comfort of the furniture makes you not want to get up from your chair after your meal. All the waiting staff can't do enough for u especially Zag, although I never saw Zig AKA ZachWe love it when you are complementing our staff, shows so much respect and that you enjoyed your evening with us.The Brasserie Team

My partner and I ate at Avli twice as it was that good. First time we didnât have a reservation so sat in the main restaurant area downstairs but the second time we did make a reservation and requested a table upstairs. Both visits we had the bread, halloumi and stuffed mushrooms to start and they were all delicious. On our first visit we had the Avli chicken and also the chicken and mushrooms for main course and then on the second visit my partner had the Avli chicken (after tasting main on our first visit) and I had the moussaka.The food was so good and the service was fantastic. Both visits we had three starters to share between us. Two main courses and two beers and it came to â¬44 which for the standard was fantastic. If youâre in Malia I would highly recommend you visit Avli. You wonât be disappointed!

I have been here many times over the week as it's halfway back from Supermarket and accommodation. Friendly atmosphere, good selection of drinks. I hadn't eaten noticed that those who have service has been quick and plates return to kitchen empty. Sergiani's has a beautiful setting on the Beach Road nicely decorated in traditional Greek Blue and WhiteThe service was good and there ae plenty of choices on the menu of traditional Greek and Cretan cuisine as well as Mediterranean and fish dishes.My wife had the beef liver and onions and I had Sardines both were delicious and had ample portions.At the end of the meal the manager came over and had a chat wand presented us with a small bottle of ouzo which was a nice touchThere is also a quirky map with flags where you can show where you come from

Loved the awesome, tasty food, uncomplicated environment: a mixture of rural with chic details. The jasmine aroma all over dinner, the basil , the cucumber offered while waiting.The land shank was delicious and the fillet steak was quite good, too. Need some pepper and salt added prior to bringing it to the table, but we forgive them.During our dinner we saw that everyone requesting the bill was offered raki + some grapes and watermelon..not to us, though.. neither the tomatoes bagged to take away...Take your time here, there is a 95% chance youâll enjoy your time.
