San Cristóbal is a wonderful place but there are times you need a good meal and to chill. We ate really wonderful tapas and were treated like royalty by the staff and owners. Add to all of this the owners speak multiple languages (Spanish, French, English at least) and it just makes the experience that much better. If you do go, try the squid. Okay, so I have never been served a salad in a bread bowl before, but after trying it at Il Borgo, I have to say I kind of like it - but perhaps that is just because their bread was so good. OR perhaps it was because we had to wait an insanely long time for the food, so much so that by the time the food arrived I think I would have eaten just about anything. Thankfully, they at least provided breads and a couple dipping sauces, one red and one green, to hold us over until our orders came out of the kitchen. The dips were out of this world! So much so that we continually passed them around the table, debating which was better, until there was not so much as a drop left of either. Wish I could have bottled them up and taken them home!

Very quick, friendly service. Good value. Excellent mint tea. Fantastic falafel and hummus, as well as a delicious mezze plate. Easy to find. Well worth a visit.

I've enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Mesa Madre this week and both meals were fantastic. The cozy space makes this a true private dining experience. Prices are very reasonable compared to other top-tier restaurants in town. It's a great choice for seafood, and the chef's counter experience is lots of fun.

Nice little restaurant at the other end of calle Real de Guadalupe. The food was excellent, the pasta cooked al dente. Service was top and prize very fair.

I have no idea why or how this place is rated so high. We shared the Fantasia salad and a pizza. Both were terrible. The salad was meant to be an arugula salad, but it was served almost entirely with lettuce along with 2-3 arugula leaves. It was also meant to have avocado, but only had time little specs.The pizza was even more disappointing. It was advertised as having Parmesan cheese, but in reality had some cheese I could not identify as a very thin layer in the pizza, with a few tiny pieces of Parmesan. The pizza lacked taste, any spices, vitualla no cheese, and no tomato base at all. The tomato was provided as a side dish that you simply added to the pizza. It was dry, lacking much substance, and was tasteless.We would never eat again at this restaurant. There are loads of choices in San Cristobal, and La Bella Napoli does not deserve to grace such a high rating.

Words cannot describe the warmth and joy that exists in every aspect of Madama Do Re. Favi and Ali will lift your soul with their kindness and generosity. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and nightshades... my expectations when traveling are incredibly low because most restaurants either canât or wonât help me out. Trattoria Italiana blew my mind with their willingness, care, and execution of a delicious meal. They made me not one but two gluten,dairy, nightshade free pastas that weâre amazing. My omnivore fiancé even loved them. I canât thank the manager and kitchen enough for a memorable meal! Tip: sit outside, and call ahead to talk through any allergy needs in advance.
