We went here for lunch and had a great meal. The staff was friendly although they did not speak much English (luckily "tacos" is understood in all languages). We got an assortment of different tacos and each was good. They came with different sauces which made it fun to mix and match. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the view of the street. I would recommend.

Good pizza on a main drag, less than great pasta, cold beer, average service in a clean place with reasonable prices. Would not go out of my way to eat there again, but if you are nearby and want pizza it is worth a try.

3. Restaurante El Arbolito

We were up for a quick bite after a whole day travelling around in Chiapas. We ended up by chance eating in this cute restaurant, btw with quite a bizarre decoration. Her owner, a 78 year old charming lady, comes from Puebla and masters the typical dishes of that region. She came over to say hi and we found her to be absolutely hilarious. We ordered lamb barbecue and green mole. Both dishes were really tasty and felt like authentic homemade pueblan food. Fast and very good value too, as we paid $270 (less than 13â¬) including drinks and tip. I would definitely recommend this place to eat in Palenque.
