Reviewed By ScrumpywayWeird place that could be nice but really just for a Hungarian or German speaking dog owners Rooms were not made up despite having out the 'please make up this room' sign, double bed was two singles pushed together, with a crack down the middle, reception staff were never there to complain to, and the front door of the room has transparent sections in the glass so anyone standing outside CAN SEE YOU IN BED. The staff seemed to think that because we were two men (two rooms I hasten to add), dressed in a similar way (company shirts) and we didn't have a dog with us (it's a hotel that specialises in dog owner visits) that we were gay, which as it happens, we are not, although that shouldn't make any difference. We were totally shunned in the restaurant while other people were assisted, both mornings. On the final morning we didn't even bother with Breakfast. If you drive a car and are coming back after 'curfew' - 7pm, bad luck, you can't get past the barrier in the road so you will need to park your car on the boggy grass and walk. Unhappy at being treated like pariahs, it would have been nice to have had the rooms made up while we were staying, and the ability to park our car near to our room to bring our heavy filming kit and out would have been helpful.

Fabulous three days at Manor House Inn
Reviewed By WhereyouOur group of eight - four couples in their 50's - arrived at the Manor House Inn on Monday. We like to have fun and we are not shy about it. So after a short check in we literally took over the premises. We occupied the main villa four comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Every morning started the days with a bike ride followed by a plentiful breakfast. Then explored the surrounding area Csopak, Fured, Tihany. Great restaurants, museums, with beautiful view of Lake Balaton from everywhere. At the evening we listen to music in the spacious living room having a glass of wine or two, feeling home. Before we left we had a nice chat with the staff thanked them for making our stay in Manor House Inn memorable.

Reviewed By Traveler823160Hétvégére érkeztünk Szentgálba. A szálláson a fogadtatás nagyon kedvesen történt. Mindent elmondtak a szállásról majd, hogy mit tudunk megnézni a környéken. A szállás szép, tiszta, jól felszerelt. Nagyobb családdal vagy baráti körrel is szívesen visszatérnék.

Reviewed By StinaAndreaNot so easy to find, but luckily we did find this place. Came late in the evening & got greeted buy one of the most amazing human beings we've came across. Little bit expensive, but when you've droven for hours straight, rain is pouring down & traffic is crazy & you're having a hard time staying clear behind the steering wheel it doesn't matter if it cost little bit more. It was really worth it. Especially when you haven't booked anything in advanced or have a reservation. We really took a chance with getting any rooms. Really clean rooms, clean everywhere for that matter. Nice, big rooms with ac, tv, fridge etc. Breakfast is included in the price, great coffee from a proper espresso machine, the breakfast portions are generous. You don't leave the place hungry, that's for sure. But best of all was the service. The woman in the reception, don't know her name, but that woman is amazing. Her service level was sky high, always a smile on her lips, really kind & helpful. She was so warm & took such a good care of everyone. She's the one who made this over night stay so much better. A real gem, who deserves all the compliments there is. Only downside may be the bed mattress, little bit hard. But it's like that in eastern Europe. Beds don't have Scandinavian standard ;P . So basically not an issue if you already know that beds in eastern Europe is a mattress & nothing more. It's still a bed to sleep in wich is amazing after a whole day on the road & you have really clean & soft sheets. I can really recommend this place for a overnight stay when you're on the road.

Delicious breakfast, clean and beautiful room and balcony and fantastic host Kati - so helpful and kind. Great value and we will stay again for sure. Easy walk to beaches and up the mountain for the sunrise!

The Granarium was established as a family run business, with the aim of providing high-quality meals in variable manner for regional communes, public institutions, businesses and families for reasonable price. This basic idea has been expanded the construction of the Granarium Center, which began in 2008 and the beginning of 2014, after a half a decade of preparing, it has started to operate. The 500 guests operating kitchen equipments give the opportunity of a 140 guests a la carte restaurant, confectionery operation and also the creation of an independent sports season opportunity for fun and giving room: for bowling and billiard. If you wish to overnight during a business trip or a relaxing stay in the near, our guestroom and camper-port provide an excellent accommodation with jacuzzi and panoramic view to the Gerecse and Pilis mountains. Just below of our building complexity, in the middle of the hill our authentic 40 guests wine tavern offers the essence of our country's wine regions.

Reviewed By saltacityWe stayed at the „Granárium Központ” on our way to Budapest. It is a relatively new, purpose built by the main road with upfront parking. Overall the hotel is nice but the small details are lacking, for instance the service is indifferent bordering on unfriendly and at times belligerent. There seems to be a lack of interest in guests and the personnel makes you feel unwanted. It was ok for a one-night stop-over but I would definitely not recommend staying longer.

Ugyan a konyha hamarosan zárt, a borokat is elég gyorsan hozták,ami a végére egy nehezen feldolgozható, siettetett élménnyé tette a kóstolót. Az utolsó két tételt a desszerttel tovább lehetett volna húzni. A borok mind finomak voltak,ritka tételt is kóstoltunk. Közép árkategóriásak,jó csomag ajánlatokkal. A vacsora során a leves a só kedvelő ízlésünkhöz képest is túlsózott volt, a rántott malacpofa viszont tökéletesen puha,omlós. Az étteremhez panoráma terasz társul a Balatonra és szőlőre nyíló kilátással. A reggeli kivételesen ízletes volt minden elemében: házi kolbásszal,füstölt sonkával,vajjal,túró és tepertőkrémmel, különleges lekvárokkal (füge,cékla,narancs), nem beszélve a mennyei brownie-ról. Igazi terjülj-terülj asztalkám prémium minőségű ételekkel. A szállás egyszerű vintage berendezésű, minden szükséges felszereléssel. Az egyetlen fejlesztési javaslatunk sötétítő függöny vagy zsalugáter felszerelése lenne,mert a fehér függönyökön beszűrődő reggeli fény igen zavaró volt.

Modern, clean rooms, close to the beach of Balatonfüred
Reviewed By zsszaboWe've first visited this beautiful place this year, hopefully we can be back also next year. The rooms are modern, everything was as good as we wanted (nice and clean rooms, perfect bathroom with enough space, well equipped kitchen and backyard, free, dedicated parking slots, place for bicycles). The place is just 5 minutes walk away from the beach (be prepared for some slope) just in the street at the end of the Tagore promenade.
