We had local food delicacy from Central Borneo Dayak people. Not very common outside of Central Borneo. Anyway we had some dishes in 2 occasions, dinner on the first day and lunch on the next day before leaving to the airport for my flight back to Jakarta. Amazing local fish and veggie dishes cooked in Dayak style with different herbs. Very delicious and good service too.

Been here for few times and so far still becoming one of the place where i spend most of my time reading book.despite they are located in not so crowded mall anymore, this restaurant surely has something to offer. the foods are quite nice, the drinks are surprisingly good. the wifi connection is not bad, and the live music is something that pleased your ears.personally, i love their Passion fruit beer (hope i write it right), it is refreshing. It's been two months i keep back and forth, but still their Baram (Baram is local traditional drink) is not available, hope that soon they'll have it in order for me to try. The waiters are super friendly, few times i didn't realize that they already closed because i am too concentrating on my book, and guessed what?? they are not disturbing at all. when i asked them do they closed yet, with smile upon their faces they said that they closed since almost an hour back. DEFINITELY my fave by far in this city.

Decided to try this resto as it is no. 1 in Palangkaraya. It is quite surprising to find artisan tea in this small city. The owner explained the interesting background of this resto and showed us awesome blends of tea. We opted for oolong tea with roses and it tasted really really good. It combined well with the delicious pastries made in house.If you want to try non-local food in Palangkaraya, give this place a try. The owner and staff are very friendly, and the place is cozy.
