Great Location
Reviewed By david_botondGreat Location, it is very close to the airport and it's easily accessible. I arrived by car, it has enough parking spots, and the main gate is shut at night. The beds are comfortable, I got a good night sleep before departure. The garden is very nice and clean. The restaurant closes a little early so I could not arrive in time to try it.

Reviewed By mcheroEverything went smoothly with the booking, arrival and departure. Negative things: relatively dirty, battered room and bed, bad quality bed linen, dusty table, disgusting shower, ugly furniture and colours, very thin walls, noisy neighbours all night The wifi didn’t work after 9 pm, until about 8 in the morning. Breakfast would have cost 1,200 Forints.

Just for one night
Reviewed By skyradioWhen arrived at property (late night) they don't have a parking place, instead the lady from reception,said to park the car near a bank office (because it is protected by a camera!!!!). Old furniture, no heating, we try to use air conditioner but I didn't find the remote, the smallest sink in bathroom i ever saw. The only positive was the hot water!

Reviewed By Rob684Excellent pension with restaurant and spacious room (#3) with welcomed air conditioning. For a change a good working wifi. Breakfast plentifull and complete. Friendly owners and staff providing excellent service. Old town is a few steps away. Slanted roof reduced the head space at the bed but this is just al small minus. We gladly recommend this place.

Reviewed By Noga AWe were supposed to be at the airport at 3 am. Since we arrived from Slovakia, we were looking for a hotel close to the airport, for a shower and a nap before the flight. There is not much choice of hotels near the airport of Budapest. This pension seemed to meet our needs. Clean rooms, very simple , with air condition, bathroom with shower with curtain. Our double bed gave a feeling of a sofa that opens. They have a restaurant in the place with very large and tasty dishes. Free Wi-Fi . Parking in the complex. There are tables and chairs in the nice yard. We asked in advance to book a cab for 3 AM to the airport. The taxi was waiting for us at the appointed time. The cost of a trip to the airport is approximately 10EUR .

Clean and quaint B & B

The location is very close to the Hungarian F1 track and easy walking distance to a co op supermarket. The room was a double but laid out as two singles head to head, the room was well appointed and had a sofa, table and 100 channels of tv. Altho all of these are Hungarian. There is parking and access is very easy. The walls are quite thin and there any noise made by other guests is easy to hear. Good accommodation and would recommend .

Balcony with a view
Reviewed By Mark TI was amazed at how easy it was to get to and find the Edelweiss Panzio (the Hungarian for Pension). It is a ten minute stroll from the nearest railway station which is named after the street. The area is similar to areas through out Swebia (which runs from South West Germany all the way to this area just North West of Budapest). In fact the town is also called Werischwar, which is the old German name. German is the second language which came in handy as I am only just starting to learn Hungarian (Magyar). The Hotel was just like Hotels I have stayed in, in the Black Forest regions of Baden-Wurternberg and Bayer. The breakfast dining area even had hunting trophies and carved oak panels! The staff and owners were very friendly and made you feel welcome without being intrusive. The rooms were spotless and the on suite shower/bathroom (no bath) was roomy and the shower powerful and easy to adjust. The beds were comfortable and each room comes with a small fridge and mini-bar. The only shortcoming was the wi-fi coverage, which was poor, the further the room is from reception and mine was the furthest. It worked fine in the reception area and the dining room. Ask for a room near reception! Breakfast was always very good with a selection of local meats and cheeses and fresh bread. It also included a selection of teas, including Earl Grey, but not English Breakfast (my advice to fellow Brits is bring some with you!). There was also a mini gym and a sauna. The sauna costs about £5 and is very pleasant. Local amenities are limited, but there are a couple of excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance. The cake shop, which is very grand, is to die for and amazingly reasonable. I thought I was entering a five star restaurant. Budapest centre is only a 40 minute train ride away and the return fare is about £2. A very modern and clean service with easy to use ticket machines. Trains run every 20 minutes through out the day and well into the evening. My room had a balcony with a stunning view that reminded me of Switzerland and, facing East, you are greeted with superb sunrises, a perfect way to start the day. There are beautiful country walks and there is plenty of hills and forestry. Lastly there was the bill - a double room en suite with breakfast and balcony for a single person comes to around £160 for a week and an extra £65 pounds for couples. With the flight by Norwegian from Gatwick you will struggle to spend £200 each all in. A truly wonderful experience and with all the history, thermal baths and excellent food and cafes, it makes for a very relaxing and pleasant holiday. The climate is best during May, June, September and October. July and August is great for those who like it very hot!

Reviewed By slogomanWent a few weeks ago rooms are great and main door needs a pass to get in between 12 midnight and 6am someone entered room while we slept and stole my laptop and iPad and a few friends phones Only people with access was the staff and a few other guests , called police who didn't want to know! First trip to Budapest be carefull all locals are out to rob you , almost all bars we got short changed, stay clear of taxi companies most are ran by local gangsters we got overcharged and short changed daily they will confuse you
