Our beautiful and cozy little restaurant overlooks the main center of San Ignacio town. We offer local (traditional and contemporary Belizean) cuisines. We are the only restaurant in San Ignacio that offers a full local menu.

Maybe other reviews set expectations too high. The space was on the second floor. There was no air flow and it was quite warm. As for the food, we were underwhelmed. There was no Ivy (mentioned in other reviews) when we visited. Two nice young men were running the place. The food just wasnât that good this night. I had the jerk chicken burrito which just wasnât quite right. My son had a similar experience with his fish tacos which lacked flavor. This is unfortunate but perhaps it was an off night. Weâve had good meals in San Ignacio and there is no lack of food in this area. We were disappointed to have wasted an opportunity to eat well this night.I am sorry you had a bad experience at our restaurant. The cooks that are there were trained by myself, Ivy and using my recipes. I am on maternity leave at the moment but will be back next week, the 1st week of June.I will be back soon with more of my flavorful traditional menus. we had lunch with friends here. chicken wings good, large size. i didnât love my burrito because it was filled with coleslaw. ceviche was good. seafood trio pasta pretty good too. food got mixed reviews. decent prices and big portions

We stayed at Midas so were next door. We walked over for lunch one day and were impressed with the outdoor eating area. The Belikins were among the best priced compared to anywhere else we purchased them. The food was good, not spectacular but good. Later on during our stay, we decided to stop by and try some of the ice cream we say at a little bar on our way out the day before. $2 BZD a scoop. Best ice cream we've had in a really long time. Wow! Went back several more times just for the ice cream.Service was outstanding each time we visited. I would definitely go back.

The restaurant at Chaa Creek is a superb example of top-notch service meeting delicious cuisine to create a memorable dining experience. As resort guests, the kitchen already knew of dietary needs in our group (GF, vegetarian) and had delightful menu options. Wait staff is attentive without being intrusive. Do stop by the adjacent bar for a handcrafted cocktail based on your taste preferences.

I will consider one of those lifetime memorable meals that come along about two every decade. Firstly, the restaurant is charming, and the menu offers a broad selection that will appeal to every taste. I had the pork chop with chimichurri, delicate vegetables, and coconut rice. Served with a carménère, it was a wonderful combo of flavors and textures. The Bailey's cheesecake was beautiful and not too sweet. Family that runs the place does a fantastic job, and their young son is a remarkably knowledgeable dinosaur enthusiast.

This is an upscale place made for dates or adult parties. There are 2 levels and a small bar and separate patio area. Live music flowed the night I arrived unannounced. Busy season may require reservations. The price is nearly that of an upscale California restaurant, so keep that in mind. I ordered a nightly special of pork kabobs, a lobster stew, 2 glasses of wine and a desert for about $100 BZD or $50 USD. Well worth it, enjoyed the service and the food.

Right in the middle of San Ignacio where the specialty seems to lamb dishes, not aFan of lamb so went for the special.Nothing special about the special - spicy herb chicken - but nothing spectacular about it.Seems over priced for what they offer.

Pop's is an American-style diner one block away from the tourist street. Staff are curteous, and there are free coffee refills! Cheapish, fast, and open early. Try the chaya pockets!
