Initially seen advertised on social media, good photos. Place is quite small.Visited for lunch, the menu is not that extensive and nothing really that stands out.Party of 4 that had burgers and shrimp.Food took 35 mins to be served, nothing spectacular so may be good for an outing out of the norm but nothing a place you would routinely keep going back to.

Ham's offers awesome and authentic TX style BBQ in the Cayo District of Belize. They are very conveniently located along the highway outside San Ignacio, so you you might be able to stop in on your way to/from the airport, zoo, Mayan tours, caves, ziplining, etc. My wife and I spent a wonderful 9 days in Belize seeing all the sights and we ate at Ham's three times. Besides their convenient location, clean restrooms, and friendly service, they offer the most important thing of all: great tasting and high quality food! We had the pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches. Once we ate at Ham's location and the other times we just grabbed sandwiches to go, very convenient indeed. The have ice cold drinks and offer the extremely tasty Hot Mama's brand Belizean made hot sauces. (Try the Manganero! OMG) They are in the same location as the Hot Mama's factory, so you might be able to get a tour depending on when you stop by.Steven offers a really friendly and high quality food establishment. While there are many places to get great local food, for sheer convenience, taste and something different (or a taste from home) you really ought to stop by and have a bite!!

Great, clean & friendly atmosphere with big screen tv's & good music! The food & drinks are amazing...some of my all time favorites includes their delicious lemon pepper wings, the beef tacos are to die for & their T-bone steak dinner are rich with flavor! Not to mention the cowfoot soup or their restaurant nachos. The blended drinks are also great! Try the frozen margarita or their chill mojitos, or CK twists on the Green Guana or CK yellow machine! Was in earlier today and heard the manageress/owner talking to a local animal rescue and told them to deal with a stray cat or she will poison it !Well lets hope the animal rescue can save this poor animal, would hate to think the manageress might slip up and get the cat poison in the food ?!

As a frequent out of country traveler, I sometimes crave a taste of home. Even though I don't eat Burger King or McDonalds while in the states, I still will stop by why on the road. Sometimes, it is simply because I know certain sanitation practices will be followed.There are no "fast food" places in Belize. Until now. Sargent Peppers is like walking into any fast food place in anytown USA. It is bright, clean and the sanitary practices are correct. The bathroom has hot water which is rare in Belize. I asked about the water and it is double filtered. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a soda and fries. Was not the best I ever had but not bad either. The soda was huge. Fries a little small. Came out to $6.30 USD which is cheaper than a comparable meal in the states.Will come back next trip and try the breakfast.Very friendly staff.

My wife and I and our adult daughter went to Mincho's at the recommendation of a couple of staff members at Chaa Creek. We were looking for the best empanadas in San Ignacio and we wanted to know where THEY go. They both said Mincho's. This is a walk up place with a very brisk business of locals. There is very little seating - virtually none so we got our lunch and went over to the park to eat. I had 3 sumbutos (sp?) which are sort of like a Mexican sopa. The ladies each had 3 empanadas. Our daughter had a lime drink and my wife and I shared a bottle of water. The food was decision and the total tab was $4.25 US. If you want local go here.
