Classic elegance with a stupendous view

I've had 3 extended stays at this beautiful hotel and adore it. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and attentive, particularly those in its first-rate restaurant who went out of their way to have the chef prepare off-menu offerings to suit my dietary constraints. The view of the mountains from the hotel's perch above Cava is splendid, and you can enjoy it from several terraces. I enthusiastically recommend this classic hotel.

My wife and I stayed here three nights as we visited Naples and the Amalfi Coast. It was a great location. The breakfast cost €12. We had it two mornings and it was very good. They will even make you bacon and eggs. We stayed on the third floor and it was very quiet.

Small friendly Hotel In the Mountains

The Hotel is small. Big car park. You need a car or to be prepared to use the bus and train Network. The roads aren narrow and steep and bendy! A quiet place with few English and few English speakers the real Italy! Local people are very helpful and friendly. Food in the hotel is good, very extensive fish dishes on menu. Good place to explore and return

What you see is what you get! Small charming building in a well-kept garden where stands a cat colony in freedom, ideal for moments of relaxation in an oasis of silence and perfumes. The facility, probably an ancient sighting tower, has recently been refurbished, paying particular attention to the architectonic renewal by means of wood and terracotta tiles from Vietri.

Nice place to stay with amazing view

We've really enjoyed our stay there during the May 2019. The room was spacious, very light and with amazing view on surrounding countryside. Also the breakfast and the morning chat with Alessia who runs this B&B exceeded our expectations.

Our stay

Reviewed By Enjoytravelling14

We stayed with a hiking group at the hotel. The breakfast needed to have more healthy choices than all the pastry they served. The staff at breakfast were not very friendly to our group. .Dinner was very good and served outside for our group and the staff was very nice even though some didn’t speak English. The rooms were a good size. The bathroom was very small with no place to put your toiletries. The shower was very small and water leaked all over as it was not fully enclosed.

La Torretta Bianca

"La Torretta Bianca" is located on the smooth hill denominated "Il Toppo". The tower, with its typical architecture, is an identifying point in the urban landscape. The buildin dates back to the 1850 and dominates both sides of the gulf:from one side the lands that overview the Amalfitan Coast and on the other side the impressive outline of the Vesuvio volcano with the coastline of Naples in the background.

Magical

The fact that this is my third year staying at this wonderful B&B speaks for itself. I cannot fault the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation together with the superb view, clean air and peaceful surroundings. I stayed for a month this time and felt very safe and protected as the accommodation is totally secure and private. But more than this, it’s the genuine warmth and kindness from Luciano and his lovely family that keeps me returning year after year.

very nice location to position yourself in amalfi coast

Reviewed By carlaDubai

this summer we decided to discover new spots in amalfi coast. we got by train to salerno and from there we came to this town: cava dei tirreni... which is really nice and alive full of bars and restaurant. this b&b is in the heart of it. so we were happy, the owner helped us getting a motor bike.he went out of his way, he dropped my husband to the motor rental place. the place is very relaxed, no one bothers you. room was very big with it s own kitchenette. so over all nothing to complain. we did not have any spectacular view however we were always out ...on the way back again the owner drove us back to the train station so I guess more than the b&b and the rooms what I never forget is the kindness of the owner. thank you

Loved it!

Reviewed By CarlaBurgas

We went there in the second week of August, two adults and a 2-year old boy. We loved it! It's a family-run property with one larger and one smaller, more intimate pool with absolutely stunning views. It's very high up, so the road is quite steep, but all worth it.They do cater for events, there was a birthday party one of the evenings, but we didn't hear a thing, because our room was at the other side of the building. We haven't been told we can't use the pool, it was open to use until 6 pm when the sun sets anyway. We loved the smaller pool, there was hardly anyone there and the water was lovely. The room and the bathroom were somewhat small, but had everything we needed. The room was kept clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and my son slept in his big bed with hardly waking up as well. There was a balcony with views as well. I would have wanted the shower to be a bit bigger. I absolutely loved the food and my partner absolutely loved the local wines that we had. We ate dinner every day at the villa, with the exception of one night. Grazzia (I think, apologies if that's wrong spelling) was amazing in trying to accommodate my son's strange food taste! She had something off the menu prepared for him every time and he actually ate it. Overall all the food was nice, always tasted fresh and home-cooked. I was a bit surprised with the variety of cakes, offered at breakfast, but this seems to be an Italian thing, we stayed at a couple more places in Italy on this holiday and that was the case everywhere. There was enough variety of savoury foods for me, I especially liked the frittata-like bake and the fresh fruits.

Best shower in a long time, central location

Reviewed By chrisdZ6270YH

This place is spotless and recently renovated. The staff are wonderful. We really enjoyed it. I’d have given it a top rating except the rooms are on the third floor and there is no lift, and I’m no spring chicken. Moreover, parking is two blocks away. Still, this was a very nice place and a solid value. Being right along the portico’ed walk of the “Bologna of Southern Italy” is wonderful. A passeggiata in this lovely little city is always a great pleasure. If my legs hold out until my next visit, I’d gladly stay there again.
