We have been affectionate customers of Via Veneto for years now, and over the years I have only seen improvements both in the lounge and in the kitchen.
Great food (even the pizza is very good) and great sympathy of Jerry and Pasquale!

This is a family style restaurant where you simply sit down, and the food just starts coming. All inclusive pricing, includes bottled water, unlimited wine, anti-pasta, pasta, and a meat dish. In our case we had a delicious rib steak. Food was delicious and the husband and wife serving team were very friendly.

Taste the real Italy in a budget priced family run restaurant where both the food and welcome are outstanding.
Simple restaurant without menus where you choose what you want them to cook from the cold cabinet.
Spaghetti with Clams was outstanding!
Beware the red chilies on the table!
Only Italian spoken which just adds to the experience.
A short walk from the Holiday Inn and recommended by the staff there.
They even sent out for a cappuccino for me as they provide only the usual espresso after dinner!
Ate there twice with great experiences and very reasonable bills - a great Antidote to the tourist traps on the Amalfi coast.

We requested a local wine, and one of the owners (middle in the picture on their website) recommended a nice white wine, which we really enjoyed (forget the name, sorry..)
Romantic setting a bit away fromt the main street. Also here; simple but fresh fish.
The waiter really made an effort to make it a special meal, in which he succeeded!

Whenever I would like to taste a Michelin star plats I go there! Simply delicious.. with each plate they represent a part of original Italian cuisine in combo with modern and peculiar ingredients ! shrimp on a bed of stracciatella (bufala cheese fillet!).. scallops ( Gordon Ramsey's favourite dish) excellent grilled meat.. tasty pasta ..and breath taking desserts.. how can say?!!! You should try it..

Good, good, good!!
I was invited there from some dear friends and the menu that they chose for the dinner was amazing.
The food was excellent, we eat so many different courses and all of them were great.
We had as appetisers some small fried fishes, the local mozzarella of buffalo, some small pizzas made with a typical regional receipt, a fish salad, a sort of parmigiana made with fish, an octopus salad and some many other different dishes that I can't even remember, but for sure I have fond memories of all of them.
As pasta we had two local specialties: handmade pasta with beans and mussels and the pasta with the potatoes. I couldn't even imagine that this last kind pasta could be so good!
The main courses of fish were wonderful ( a mixture of fried fish and then a big fish cooked in the oven), actually the fish was very fresh and tasty.
At that point I was so full that I couldn't eat any other things, I just tried a fabulous cake named " caprese", a traditional delicatessen of this Italian region, made with an innovative receipt based on lemon,instead of the traditional chocolate.
The service was friendly, polite and quick.
The atmosphere was pleasant, our table was outside under the arches, and they view of the old road were the restaurant is located was an additional plus.
I'm not able to judge the price/ quality ratio because I was invited from my friends.
Now I'm looking forward to go back there soon!

Across the street from the central station in Cava is this small treasure. It is family run and the atmosphere is that of a five star estamblishment in the middle of the strangest place. I would write more but my next course is en-route!!!

The Green Elf is the best place to enjoy your free time in Cava de' Tirreni. Service is friendly and fairly fast. Good atmosfere under Porticos, very busy on saturday.
Professional beer leak!
My favourite dishes are: panino Chef, panino Legolas, potatoes with bacon and provola. Beer or not to beer ?!

Siamo stati al morhum ed in particolare al Dam per la cucina spagnola: il locale è carino ed accogliente anche se un po’ kitch; la cucina luci ed ombre: ottimo il pta negra, da rivedere il vino negramaro, scarso il cous cous di mare davvero insapore. Per il resto bella accoglienza e soprattutto apprezzabile l’idea: finalmente un locale dove gustare rhyme e fumare sigari aldilà del mangiare
