We booked a room in la Margherita, but we cut or losses
Reviewed By hans rAfter traveling two weeks through Italy, mainly with bed & breakfast, our last night was in La Margherita (part of golf club mirasol). We arrived in the afternoon, and it is fair to say that the wheather was not helping either. It rained heavily. The lady at the reception gave us our "room". The room was on the first floor and split level. It was unfortunately the worst room in two full weeks in Italy. It had hardly any light. Our bed was on the entresol. The only light there was the lamp standing next to the bed. In the "main" room there was an extra bed, right across a table with a TV set. The room had 3 (rather old looking) air conditionings. The accompanying restaurant was closed (wednesday night). Although we payed for this "room" € 80,- I cut my losses and booked a room in a nearby hotel including breakfast for € 55.-. My only recommendation. Skip this place ! As you can see in my profile; I'm always positive. Here is nothing positive to mention.

A wonderful oasis
Reviewed By realimaginaryAlas, I could only stay for one night in this beautiful, unexpected oasis. Comfortable room, very nice owner, delicious breakfast, free wifi.... gorgeous leafy grounds. As I told the owner during a long conversation about art and culture and history and heritage -- the danger was that it was so pleasant being there that one might never leave and see the local sights.

Reviewed By Matthew FThe hotel itself was practically empty, the front of house is the receptionist, waiter, cleaner, barman and cook. Trying to get your car out of their secure parking lot is a mission and a half. The breakfast is something to be desired....what a shockingly terrible breakfast for the price range of this hotel....

Reviewed By DanielYoung87I can't emphasis enough to STAY AWAY. This "hotel" is nothing more then a low class dirty hostel. And to make matters worse the staff are extremely abusive and rude to anyone that's non Italian. If you want to enjoy your time and holiday in Italy, then stay away!
