We stopped by here for lunch. My husband enjoyed his portobello burger. However, I did not enjoy my mahi-mahi burger; it was cold in the middle/undercooked and it was also very salty. The place itself looked very nice, it was outdoors and overlooking the Unexso pool. It’s conveniently placed for those who wanna grab a bite and drink while waiting for the dolphin programs and after a morning of scuba diving.

The Stoned Crab

This restaurant was recommended by a local. As we walked in, we noticed we were under-dressed in shorts and tanktops. The owner, as it turned out, greeted us warmly and walked us to a table with a beautiful view of the beach. Our waitress, Karen, was friendly and smiling. The menu was a bit pricey ( as is everything on the island) and we opted for my very favorite meal of shrimp & grits. It was delicious. Karen was attentive, food arrived hot and pleasing to the eye and we had a wonderful evening. The weather turned bad and we had to move inside by dessert. Even though I couldn't finish my dinner, I had to try the roasted beet ice cream and I'm so glad I did! It was amazing!!!! It was sweet and gingery. It was absolutely pouring as we were leaving and the owner was waiting at the door with umbrellas to escort us to our car. The meal was so wonderful we decided to go again before coming home. So we made a reservation for Saturday night. If it's possible, this meal was even better than the previous one. We again sat out on the deck overlooking the beach. This time, Tenille was our server. I feel bad that they have to carry this huge "specials" board around but believe me, take a look at the specials! I tried the Thai basil mojito which was probably the best cocktail I've ever had. For dinner, I chose the seafood fettuchini and my husband had the steak. Wow! so good! I was prepared to have the beet ice cream again but Tenille talked us into trying the (guava?) Duff. It was great too!The only negative was that seafood apparently attracts the flies off the beach. If you are going to order the amazing seafood fettuchini, sit indoors. In an open air restaurant, they don't have much control over that sort of thing and they did everything they could to help us with citronella and candles. We finally moved inside and they brought out a fan which was much better. The service was outstanding, the food was outstanding. Definitely A+LunchLadyNh, Thank you for your wonderful review. It is always lovely to hear that our guests decide to come back and visit us after their first visit. It tells us that we are doing something right! I am sorry if the flies were bothersome that evening. You just must have caught it on a day where they were angry. We typically do not have any issues with flies. We hope you had a safe trip back home and hopefully will see you again soon!

Right on the beach. Always had a nice breeze off the ocean. The fried grouper and grilled salmon dinners were excellent. At $26.95 they were less than what it is in Panama City Beach. Breakfast $7 bucks or so which we thought was reasonable. One server in particular was great, some OK, and some could care less. Quite a mixed bag. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere so chalked the rest up to “island time”
