Discover Restaurants offering the best Cajun & Creole food in Martinique, Caribbean. This Gallic toehold in the Caribbean exudes a distinctly French air, enticingly spiced up by West Indian warmth. Local culture and cuisine combine both influences. The stylish isle is dominated by Mount Pelee, which destroyed the city of St. Pierre in 1902. Black sand beaches and rainforests are found in the north, with yet more beautiful sands to the south. Sights include La Pagerie, birthplace of Napoleon's Empress Josephine, and Diamond Rock, a 600-foot pinnacle, once registered as a British warship.

Right on the beach, this was another solid restaurant and we were able to book a reservation the same day. Some of us preferred the meals here to Case Coco, while others preferred the meals at Case Coco. Bottles of water were more reasonably priced than at Case Coco. Those who tried the crispy goat cheese salad here were particularly happy. We preferred the sauces at Case Coco. But the Octopus with lime squeezed on was some of the best Octopus we’ve had.

Hidden up the stairs of the unattractive shopping mall La Veranda. Fair prices, good service. Original even surprising decor, fresh and colorful, a red bus as a bar, funny lights and swings ... Cuisine is also atypical. We shared Jamaican pâté and jerk chicken, conch gratin, crayfishes, Haitian griot de porc and black rice (djon djon), fried sweet potatoes. Delicious.

We liked the rum punch but the dish of prawn risotto really caught my eye!

We stopped for lunch while visiting the artisanal shops. We were seated at 12:30 and received our first food at 2:05. Both my duck and my husband’s beef were totally unseasoned. Our server was very pleasant but very rushed. Dessert sorbet that came with the duck was wonderful. We didn’t want to risk ordering dessert or,coffee. Price was fair and location pretty.

We arrived on Christmas Day (after 9PM) with four teens, so we were unsure of whether any restaurants would be open, or exactly what time we would arrive at our condo. We ordered a traditional Martiniquais Christmas dinner of pork roussi, pois, jambon-ananas, rice and pork patties. Kids loved it! They delivered everything earlier in the day, and we only had to reheat it slightly. We even had enough for another meal! Lovely people and delicious food.Hello,Thank you for your positive feedback on our catering service served at home at The Diamond.
