We enjoyed our meal at Indigo Grill very much. Service was wonderful and the food was by far the best meal of our trip. Each dish well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We sat outdoors and the setting couldnât be more perfect. Highly recommended establishment!

We stumbled upon the Sun Dog Cafe and loved it! The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks were delicious. We will return again and again.Exactly. The Sun Dog Cafe is squeezed into gracious Mongoose Junction almost as an afterthought, although our bar overlooks the center courtyard, the tables and kitchen quietly blend into the beautiful architecture. And when you're there, it has a certain unassuming intimacy, a casual and easy going feeling. Thanks for the review and we're glad you "stumbled upon" us. Surprisingly, this was a canopied outdoor restaurant but, also surprising was how good the food was! The ribs were the hit of the night. We were just sorry that they closed for the season before we could come back for a second meal in August. We'll definitely return on our next St. John visit!

fun little bar. we were here for happy hour and also for breakfast before boarding the ferry. both times we could have hung out longer if we had more time. The drinks were good (both for happy hour and the coffee for breakfast). The entire menu for breakfast looked great. lots of good options. friendly bartenders. nice little outdoor bar.

We went at breakfast time and I was so happy to find a place with real "real" food - edamame and homemade potato chips to name a few. We got breakfast sandwiches, hashbrown patties and a few other things. Big plans to come back but we did find it a little late in our trip. The only draw back is that it is cash only and we were starting to run out. If we were to return this would be high on our list for provisioning and regular meals or picnics. The food was GOOD and the menu was so fresh and healthy sounding. The person we interacted with was very nice and polite, too. GO HERE!

What a great spot for drinks and dinner. Weâll be back. Korena served us well and was a great person to talk to, plus she explained drinks and food so well. The seafood stew was excellent and the tacos were really good too.

So excited that Extra Virgin is open again after taking a break after low season. First night open and they are right back into the swing of things, doing everything with excellence, as usual. Service=impeccable, love sitting at the bar where the service is amazing and everything came out super fast. The spinach salad was delicious and as usual the shrimp and crab pasta was heaven with every bite!!! Thank you again!

Four of us walked up for dinner. It was Val and my first time since the new owners. First impressions were that they spent an lot of time and money on the place and they did a great job. The floor looks like your walking on the ocean, I love it. The chairs have cushions! Our waitress was very nice and attentive.We had some issues like a Bloody Mary I ordered. It was supposed to be the ultimate. When it was brought to me it was plain to see it was not mixed but when I mixed it there was a lot of sediment in the bottom of the glass and it would not break up. Iâm not sure what the issue was but I sent it back and ordered a bottle of beer.Another issue was a grilled cheese sandwich was ordered and it took three times for them to get it right? By time the final correct sandwich was brought to the table the rest of us was finished eating.I have to say when they got it right the result was delicious! I ordered a shrimp meal with rice and a vegetable. The shrimp was amazing. The rice delicious and the vegetable was spinach with onions and it was perfect.The issues we had was just due to training of the new personnel which Iâm sure theyâll get past and with a kitchen cooking as good as they are Iâm sure this is going to be a go to restaurant! I recommend it and so give it a try. Restaurants are not easy to get going on island and they need your support. Hopefully next time I can give them a five star review.Thank you for your thoughtful review! We are working hard to make sure everything is perfect since our reopening a few weeks ago. There were three cruise ships in yesterday and a few hundred scheduled tourists for Sapphire so Val, Jeanne and I took the ferry over to STJ.After walking around stopping in stores we wound up in the Tap Room for some cold drinks. I love beer on tap and so tried a flight of some of their beers. It was all good.It was Val and my first time there and we found a very comfortable atmosphere with a knowledgeable and helpful bar tender. Weâll be back!
