The place looks clean and beautiful, amazing staff very friendly and professional. The food and drinks was fantastic, restaurant super nice to visit with friends,family or husband in a couple night. We stopped for some nice homemade lemonade during a day of sightseeing. The location in the beautiful Plaza del Carmen is unbeatable. The eponymous church at the top of the square, some interesting galleries and artist's studios, and some quirky sculptures... magic. Whilst sitting at an outdoor table, sipping our drink, I checked the menu and thought it might be a nice place for dinner. As it was very busy we decided to book a table for that evening.When we returned later we sat inside which seemed more suitable for dining. Our drinks, mojitos and aged rums, were nice, so we enjoyed a few before ordering dinner. My vegetarian partner had a vegetable soup which was ok, but his spaghetti were almost inedible - the tomato sauce probably was just some ketchup, horrible. I fared a little better. My shrimp cocktail was ok but not great. I followed with lamb in a red wine sauce which I liked. The meat was fairly tender, not fatty, and the red wine reduction was very flavourful. But, and this is very unusual for Cuba, there was not a single side dish or garnish served with it, very disappointing for the price charged. We both needed a bit more food, so we had some flan - not the best I have tasted, but quite nice.Service was not the friendliest we had in Cuba, but was quite proficient. Prices were a bit on the high side, we paid CUC34 with a small tip, but that included a few drinks. I wavered between a 'average' and a 'very good' rating, the latter is entirely due to the location and the wonderful views - also in the evening when the church is lit up.Estimada (o) cliente:Gracias por dedicar unos minutos de su tiempo a compartir con la comunidad de TripAdvisor sus consideraciones sobre nuestro restaurante. Had the opportunity of visiting the restaurant while visiting family in Camaguey. The restaurant is located in a nice part of the city and its GREAT! The food was amazing, good portions, well prepared and presented. Most importantly, the service was GREAT! Very pleasant experience. Awesome bar variety with drinks that you won't find easy around the city. I would definitely recommend it and go again on the next trip.

Place is good but not great. Food is good but there is something missing. Service is just ok in my opinion, but definitely not bad. Not sure why they call it "italian" place since its really sort of a pizza place. Ordered the lasagna and is not what we call lasagna in the states. Again, not bad but not amazing. Good drinks selection.

this is one of the best restaurants in Camaguey, very friendly atmosphere and the cervices is amazing, all member of the stuff are supper, food to die for, we just have the pleasure to booked this great place to celebrate our grannies 80th birthday party and we could not be more happy , our granny had a super wonderful time . we cant way for our next trip to Camaguey to have lunch at Casona Miralles!! Though the offerings were typical of what we had so far on the trip, the food was better prepared and had more flavor than other restaurants. A nice little parfait as dessert had us all wanting more.
