On my first trip with friends I chose chicken which appeared to be entirely FAT with no meat I could see. Fried food is de rigeur in Philippines but this food chain is hard to avoid as it is surprisingly popular and being 24 hrs can be a useful meeting place ( like the equally dire McDonald's - which is getting better as it is clean and does offer porridge).
I must say the salad ain't bad and I have had the odd juice ( not comparable with Innocent or Jamba Juice)

the cheeseburger was quite good. Ordered the (potato) wedges with my meal. Store is apparently open 24 hours. You can ask for the Wi-Fi password from the counter.

Ding Hao Chinese restaurant has not lost its touch after many years. Their pansit bihon is always the best plus the Camaron Rebosado. It is recommended to eat here on an empty stomach as you would want to taste everything on the menu!

This place serves local dishes that are staples in most Filipino kitchens. They have a food counter where you place your orders and once heated, will be served in the main dining area or in private huts outside. Their rice is wrapped in banana leaves with a hard boiled egg and tomato . Food is actually good. I would recommend the tawilis which are fried small fishes on a stick. The restaurant also sells local desserts like leche flan for take out.

Don't get me wrong. I gave a low rating because of the overall experience. The Starbucks people serving this place is actually doing an excellent job. However,ummmm the people having coffee is ummm a bit of a more jologs crowd. sorry. it wasn't very nice...

Though most Chowking branches generaly have the same food, theirs are more hot and well-made. Though the area, which consists of two floors, is a bit small, it is not usually crowded.
However, it has been out of business for a while now and their area is now for sale.
So, to whoever manages this page, the restaurant does not exist anymore.

This branch has different 'faces.' Sometimes, staff are attentive, polite, and friendly. Sometimes they're timid, looking tired, and lacks passion.
But the food will definitely bring smiles to your face. Yellow Cab, as usual, offers good food - pizza, spaghetti, potato wedges, and the ice cream!
Now, my stomach is looking for 'Dear Darla!'

Nice cozy place with native dishes and the food there is very tasty and I will come back when ever I visit Calamba. ....But the waitresses need to wake up they are not very attentive.

I have visited this restaurant about 8 times. Very authentic food. Some of the servers are from Japan, a small language challenge, but other staff can easily help.
Dinner for two come to between 800 to 1,500 Pesos.
There is parking but it is tight, there is a large lot in the very back. Their security will assist you in parking and entering and exiting, as it is a busy highway.
The location is about 75 yards/meters off the South Luzon Expressway, exit 50.

When you are famished or just plain hungry and can devour good old juicy and succulent baby back ribs, I highly recommend Lady Christine's baby back ribs. Not just the fall-off the bone meat, but their BBQ sauce are to die for (if I could just get my hands on their recipe). Their prices are really reasonable. Although their place needs a little extension to accommodate bigger crowd, still, I would wait in line just to get my hands on those ribs. Once you tasted their baby back ribs with their signature BBQ sauce, you will surely go back with your family here.
