we booked this hotel for an ed sheeran concert. we expected prices to be high but not as expensive as we paid for one night. the prices of these hotels now are disgusting. the friendliness of the staff at this hotel made up for it, it was a nice basic hotel if you need somewhere to stay

Lovely place to stay I've been using the travelodge for several months the rooms are well looked after the manager is polite and respectful Carol tammy kyle are very helpful. Always there when needed help moving rooms. Would highly recommend

Lovely reception from staff when checking in. I was impressed by the room, the space and the layout. All members of staff were friendly, including at breakfast, where the choice for breakfast exceeded expectations.

Enjoy a day or two strolling around the sprawling castle grounds and vibrant town, play golf, or take short walk to a viewing point (Caerphilly Mountain or Rudry Common) to see panoramic views of the valley and beyond. Ty Castell Guest House is the ideal place to stay for Caerphilly. Steve runs a tight ship and it shows. It's central location and price beat the Travelodge hands down and the rooms and breakfast were on point. Town can be reached in just over 5 minutes on foot. Car parking is available for each room and the en-suite rooms were spacious an comfortable.

Horrible, as soon as I opened the front door the smell of the mouldy carpet hit me, walked upstairs into the double bedroom, ugh the sheets on the bed were disgusting, walk on to the single bedroom with two beds, same as first bedroom, bathroom manky, bath mat was dirty as were the towels,on to living kitchen area, horrible, fridge stank( as did the whole apartment) no cupboards to store food, rang the host David, he came to the apartment and agreed to refund our money, we paid £180 that night to stay in a holiday inn Express in Cardiff, we paid £637 for this apartment, please please do not even think of staying here, I feel sick just thinking about it,
