Although I was recommended this place by a relative I was still a bit skeptical as the café is located in an area crowded with camping sites. We ate breakfast here twice and pizza for dinner and were extremely satisfied every time. Everything was delicious - the bread, pastries and pizza- and it could just as well have been located in Stockholm city but much more reasonable prices!

To avoid the ubiquitous pizza on Öland I ordered the souvlaki, a simple traditional greek food. But what a bad choice: dry, chewy and obvioisly 3rd time (minimum) heated ... päh. The pommes frites and Tsatsiki were avarage at best.
Additional: no fanta, no chicken nuggets (for the childs) were available, but on the menu.
Next time pizza restaurant again ...

Most amazing beach cafe you can ever visit. All home made food with a fairly well ranging menu. Lovely pottery shop also, although fairly pricey.
We had really nice homemade rhubarb and pineapple cake with vanilla cream and coffee.
Back garden with antique furniture leading down to a beach.
Chilled and delicious.
A must visit if you're in north Öland.

Kvarngården is a bit like a time warp a few decades ago. They have got it all, miniature golf, a stage with entertainment, cabins for rent, coffee shop and restaurant, as well as the Midsummer celebration. A little worn and outdated, but still with a charm.
Perfect place for a cup of coffee with a waffle on a sunny summer afternoon. Children can play around, while parents relax.

Le patron est très souriant et avenant, les prix sont très corrects et les plats sont bons. Pour manger sur le pouce c'est top.

500 SEK for dinner with Coca Cola! Tha-daaaham! Just into the garbage bin!
So the dinner buffet 195 SEK per person. And this was not a weekend! Quite a High price while most of restaurants in Sweden offer a FAR more generous! buffet including desserts, coffee and soft drinks+ ice-cream for 95-110 SEK only).
Buffet: not beautifully presented. No choice for vegetarians or someone who doesn't like pork and beef.
No tea, no coffee, no sweets! :((( Nothing is included in the buffet. Not even water!
Food: bearable if you are very very hungry (what we were like).
Service: APPALLING!
Staff standing at the buffet and staring at guests controlling how much food people take on plates.
Cutlery and glasses very old (I guess from my babushka's time) and with scratches...
So the buffet was not refilled well or on time. (Felt like the staff were waiting that guests would just loose patience and leave (after taking a few spoons from salad-bar)... not us! We were waiting...and waiting and...
Not really welcoming atmosphere! At all. From beginning to the very end.
Toilets are bearable but not really very clean.
2-stars I am giving only for good location and a nice sea-view.

My long-time Byxelkrok favorite! Perfectly located with a nice sea view. Friendly, helpful service. Relaxed atmosphere. Short menu, perhaps 5 or 6 main courses. Nothing advanced, but all done in a good way.

Have visited Petters serveral times, and always very satisfied with the food. Our favorites are their Fish and chips and their pizzas. The restaurant are located right at the sea.

It's a nice cozy restaurant with good atmosphere and polite staff. Food is so tasty.
I visited it twice: in first visit ate smoked salmon with small potatoes and tasty sauce. Portion was SO BIG :)) .
In the second visit I was at the shrimps day :) .
