Had only a weekday lunch in Bryghuset Vendia this summer so this revew is based on their lunch menu, not the dinner menu.
First: Bryghuset Vendia is a very elegant establishment, modern in steel, glass, concrete - black and white. Staff was very fortcoming and polite, and they made us feel welcome.
The beer were all brewed on-site, and the brewery could be seen through glass walls in the corner of the restaurant. Pretty cool!
We were happy with the beers we tasted, however not so happy with the selection of beer... Most of the beers were german styled lager beers. Light and dark variants, only accompanied by a brown ale and a wheat beer. This is a very limited selection for a brewhouse in my opinion.
Lunchdishes were all very delicious and tasty.

We were celebrating a 90 year birthday with 27 guests. Food was great (dyrekøllen in particular), dessert (iskage) was tasty, the service very nice and altogether we had a wonderful time, just as we had hoped for. The owner took time to make it special, the servers made everything flow, and we all left from a fabulous evening. Recommend this place wholeheartedly.

There are higher-priced restaurants in Løkken, but none offer the bang-for-the-buck you'll find at Cafe Frandsen. The food is good, the beer selection excellent and the bar well stocked. I'm a native Texan, love my barbecue, and was very impressed with the pulled pork Sandwich.
Factor in the friendly staff and you can't beat the place. I will return.

Great brunch offer fro 129 DKK incl. beverages. It is a great way to start the day traveling along Denmark's west coast and enjoying the rough nature by the sea. Staff was friendly, and the brunch buffet included fish, prawns, cheeses, several varieties of freshly baked bread, lever pate, fruit and different Danish pastries.

The waiter made us feel really welcome.
The menu forced us to choose from a lot of tempting courses.
White asparagus with shrimps was excellent, due to the perfect sauce.
Main course was based on deer. Also excellent.
Next time in the area I will definitely stop by to eat here!
Today I am sorry for not being able to get a room here as well.

Hals is a small town, which is busy in Summer and very quiet in winter. It is difficult to have a business that is good all year round, so Havkatten seems to be doing something right. The food hear is standard danish pub/bistro style with the usual selection of danish favorites, and a good selection of fare to appeal to the many German holiday makers in the Summer.
Havkatten is not gourmet, but it is also not so expensive. Portions are very big, so it is a struggle to have 3 courses there. Service is friendly but can be a little slow if they are really busy. On our visit we had fish and veal main course, both of which were nice, but not fantastic. However, given the price level, good value. They have a good wine selection and even offer half bottles which is nice if you are alone or just not too thirsty.
The restaurant is right on the water and easy to get to. If you are a holidaying in Hals, worth a visit.

We visited this as a party of 24 for a 60th birthday party / dinner. The owners and the staff could not of been more helpful or hospitable, and good company. They suggested a buffet-style dinner, which turned out to be delicious. Thank you for looking after us so well.
I hope we can visit again in daytime in the summer and see the thatched, 1552AD building in daylight. The atmosphere inside was as charming as the owners, and I'm sure the outside will match.
A little jewel in the top north-east corner of Denmark.

Vert Nice restaurant, good food and clean room. And as a biker I needed some tools to maintain my ride. The barman had some & had these brought from home in like 15 min. Very pleased with the whole experience ?

The Best coffee and ice cream in Løkken Excellent coffee and homemade ice creame with a low fat percentage Cozy and worth a visit also if it is only a coffee to go! They only use fat milch for the coffee! No toilet.
