I've visited this place several times now, and have never really left disappointed. Sometimes a bit underwhelmed, based on what I ordered, but never really feeling like I'd had a bad time. That was the same feeling the last time I went, when I ordered the perogies with seafood chowder.Everything was fine! Nothing spectacular, but completely serviceable. On the other hand, the burgers are terrific. I really like the Tuxedo burger, and paired with a good beer it's really everything you want from a neighbourhood pub. Even though it can get really busy there's a lot of seating and a good choice of drinks. Recommended!

Family was starving after visiting the gardens and Buchartsârestaurant looked like a cafeteria so we drove a couple miles down the street to this pub and it was perfect for our needs. Beers for the Dads And good pub food for the others. Their special of the day Lamb burger was outstanding and we all left happy. Special kudos to Kirsten who was patient and attentive. Brought food for the kids right get away and keep the grownups happy, too.

tripadvisor already has this listing under hotels, I wish to review the Sundaybrunch buffet in the restaurant section, as I have not stayed at the hotel.
Went to the Waddling Dog Bar and Grill after visiting Butchart Gardens on New Year's Eve. Was one of the only places open and we were staying at the attached hotel. Certainly happy we went here. The food was very good, I had the steak sandwich and my wife had the Ceasar wrap. Only problem, I noted a dairy allergy and asked for no Garlic Bread, I was brought the bread anyway. It was on a separate plate so no harm to my meal. We will go here again for sure.
