In 2022 we were Top Hotel in Panama in the Travelers' Choice 'Best of the Best' awards for Central America. Our focus is on a friendly, warm welcome and attention to detail. We have large contemporary-style guest bungalows that are set in tropical gardens right alongside the glistening blue water of the Gulf of Chiriqui. Open your drapes each morning and the Pacific Ocean is there to greet you! There's a good-quality restaurant & bar on site and we have not one but TWO stunning infinity-style pools to bathe in. We have our own dock to head to local beaches via water taxi or excursion boat - we are opposite the beautiful islands of the Gulf of Chiriqui and have a full ocean and land trip program. Just 45 minutes by car from David city (towards Panama City) and 90 minutes from Boquete.
Magical Bocas Del Mar- Resort, Restaurant, Catamaran
Reviewed By MarshaC445This lovely resort has its own restaurant and is very well run by Belgium owners. We stayed at the resort in very comfortable rooms pre/post of experiencing a magical catamaran trip through Coiba Unesco Marine Park for 3 nights/4 full days. We swam and snorkeled with turtles, tropical fish, saw dolphins, heard howler monkeys, kayaked. LOVED every moment, great food on board and terrific staff on boat. We hightly recommend it.

Reviewed By AllisonCWIf you would like a beautiful relaxing beach escape that feels luxurious, but won’t break the bank, I highly recommend “El Regalo Resort” in Boca Chica. It is a beautiful five bedroom hotel with enormous, nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms, a/c, security boxes, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, sunscreen, luxurious towels, boogie boards, a ping pong table, games books, a great infinity pool with a llama raft and amazing views on all sides. They offer a well-stocked bar, signature cocktails and smoothies as well as breakfast lunch and dinner. We enjoyed fresh fish for dinner. The service is outstanding….Melvin & Maves were the best staff! The very charming and accommodating owner, Jenni, can make arrangements for a boat to take you to the idyllic outer islands in the Boca Chica Marine Park or a guided tour to a huge waterfall and indigenous village. There’s a lovely fairly secluded beach that is a five minute drive or 20 minute walk away from the resort. We saw green parrots and iguanas and could hear the howler monkeys in the distance. The sunsets are spectacular and there’s a special area with hammocks and chairs to enjoy the ever changing sky as the sun sets. With only 5 rooms, it is a fantastic place for a retreat with family and/or friends and you could have the whole place to yourself! All the rooms have great views, but the Parida Suite is extra special! We found El Regalo (the gift) Resort to be a real gem and we recommend it highly!

Seagull Cove is a small and intimate boutique hotel with five oceanfront bungalows nestled among swaying palms and tropical gardens of Boca Chica, in Chiriquí Province. The Resort is situated on a hillside overlooking the stunning Chiriqui Gulf Coast and consists of a full-service restaurant and bar, five very private bungalows, swimming pool and deck, private beach and beach deck, dock with a fantastic, over-the-water Tiki Bar and restaurant, boats, kayaks and more all situated on the most beautiful piece of tropical paradise.

A true tropical paradise made even better by its attentive, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Imagine having breakfast on their outdoor patio and seeing toucans just a few feet away, or watching a family of howler monkeys in the trees in the evening. We would come back here in a heartbeat. FYI- the lodge sits on a hill and is about 100 steps down (and 100 steps back up) to the beach, dock, and beach bar. So this would be a challenge for anyone mobility impaired.

Only one hour from David and the local airport, we found this beautiful fishing village surrounded by splendid nature and rich flora and fauna. This place specifically to been for many years a favorite vacation and sport fishing at high level, already recognized worldwide for its sport fishing. We have double rooms with private bathroom, a/c, wi-fi,cable tv, parking area, security 24/7. Now open swimming pool area and Bar. " Rooms for two people $75,00 per night plus tax. Extra person $15,00. Every Friday night pizza & wine, cool beer, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Sport Fishing tours:Offshore $1400,00 4 pax, Inshore $1150. Tours include captain and mate,all fishing equipment, cool beverages, picnic,fruits etc. Our Scout boat, 28 ft with two 150 Hp Yamaha motors has all the equipment necessary such as: live wells, tuna tubs, gps, fish finder etc. PURA VIDA!

Reviewed By darskaNice place, free breakfast (you get whatever they offer) out by the pool. Good folks. Roxy's currently serves only breakfast and that is for clientele only. On the main road heading down to boat landing/dock area. The only restaurant in town currently open can be found at the dock just a short walk from the hotel. Nice place to get a bit to eat and the food is fine and service was good.

Great location, very rustic and simple
Reviewed By Janet BVery off the beaten path, staff spoke very little english, but we figured it out between us. Food was amazing and breakfast was included. We took the humpback whale tour with Tavi Taxi, only $25 per person. We saw whales and dolphins and they served while fried red snapper on a small off the grid island. They turned on the generator just so I could charge my phone to take more pictures. Fun to watch the many boats and water taxis from both the restaurant and the balcony of our room.
