beautiful resort... with amazing view
Reviewed By 777ayuwe arrived at amatoa from very long trip from toraja and we were check in with friendly and helpful staff so we can take a comfort rest immediately. its nice room with direct access to pool made my daughter so happy. in here they have two pool one direct access from my room and the other with fabulous ocean view. the food that we ate so tasty and delicious, make our stay complete. all the staff give excellent service, they are so friendly, and pro active to our needs. overall its a memorable and pleasant stay for our family, Love to come back again here ?

2 beautiful beachfront bungalows and restaurant with ocean and sunset views, situated on a lovely part of Bara Beach.Dive operators just a few minutes walk away.We are adding to our little resort as and when possible,so come and enjoy a little escape from it all with just a few other people around...mostly us and our staff.

Reviewed By TheoMantungSpending a short get-away here last weekend and it was great. The calm and relaxing vibes hit you immediately as soon as you walk in and down to the guest area. There are only two bungalows here - which make it perfect for a family. A small lounge and dining place on the cliff-edge are the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and the sound of the waves hitting the white sandy beach below you. The sea-front bungalow we took is spacious with a huge semi-open bathroom and a wonderful terrace. There is no AC but I found that not an issue as there is always the sea breezes. If only they provide drinking water and glasses as part of the services that would be perfect. Since the breakfast only available at 8 AM, a water boiler in the room would be a big plus, as I could imagine some early riser guests would love to have a cup of coffee/tea while enjoying the sea view in the morning. Definitely will return again.

At the end of Panrang Luhu Beach, you find a boat builders yard where Phinisi Schooners are still being built traditionally. If you are feeling more adventurous you can hire a motorcycle and explore Biras surrounding beaches, the Apparalang cliff, and caves like beautiful Gua Paseo Cave in Ara. Bira is also famous for its beautiful dive spots.

Reviewed By MissZEZNice place to stay, very near to the beach. Even though I reach there quite late their staff still waiting for me and the room still available. I love to have breakfast near the beach, lay in hammock while facing to the sea. Overall, everything is superb and I enjoy my stay there. I definitely will stay there again if I back to Bira.

Delicious food, amazing view
Reviewed By HudonAThis title says it all. We webt to Tavana house reef while waiting for our sailing boat to pick us up. We ate delicious food and get to swim on spot. Best place in Bira. Wish i knew it existed before, i for sure would have slept there in the nice little bungalows and stayed at least one more day!

In 2010, our family opened Bara Beach Bungalows at the far end of Bara Beach. We couldn’t wait to share this beautiful place with other travellers in the hopes that they fall in love with Bira the way that we did. Our Beachfront Bungalow and Restaurant overlook the clear blue waters of Flores Sea. Each Bungalow comes with an ensuite bathroom and private terrace with a garden view. Here at Bara Beach Bungalows we offer free on-site parking and have a couple of scooters to rent for those who like to explore. Our team continuously looks forward to welcoming guests and friends from around the world.
Very poor Service
Reviewed By 628esatbOur flights got canceled 1 day before the booking and i informed straight away the hotel manager named Jenna via agoda mail and proof of cancelation. Also i called the property and talked with the receptionist Mina, she couldn't do much and refered to agoda. Calling agoda for 40 min they tried the best to support me by contacting this property, but this ignorant manager claimed even that she didn't received a proof. Obviosuly the booking was not refunded and also not re-scheduled. On a long weekend where this was the last room and demand was high. Really bad service and non-cooperative. Just business oriented. Sad.

Rude and run-down - Don't waste your time..
Reviewed By HoloyoloWe (me and my 20 month old daughter) walked 30 minutes from our Homestay to WoyWoy after breakfast to have a nice chill and some drinks for a few hours. The name drew my attention as it is a well-known place in Australia and after reading a few good reviews and seeing pictures, it looked like a nice place to spend a half day with my daughter. They were happy to accept us in, thinking we were going to have another breakfast (We had already eaten as it was 9:20am) but as soon as I explained we just wanted to spend time here and have a few drinks and maybe lunch later; they told us to go away. To be fair, the place looks nothing like it looks in photos. I was almost going to book us in here to stay for a week, but am glad I did not as it is run-down and quite hideous.. faded decor and just dirty looking. I wouldn't bother staying here or attempting a visit for lunch or anything if you are planning to as they are rude!

Amazing scenary but with ordinary taste My suggestion dont order to much U can take for 2 person for the menu.. Lot of food.. The price rarely ok for hotel price.. Played on the beach u just going down and enjoy ur white sand...

Very peacefulandfelt welcome
Reviewed By WAFIHATIHATIA bit out of the way which is good, firstly upon arrival very nice friendly welcome which is always nice.The room is more or less a chalet with a outside seating area and both the bedroom and bathroom are very spacious but most important they were Clean, pretty much spotless and the bed is comfortable but only 2 pillows on a king size bed although I am sure more are available on request, the air conditioning is adequate but that may be doing it an injustice because I didn't realize how well it was working until I went outside and came back in., Couple of minor negatives first is there is no refrigerator in the room nor is there a kettle and only one coat hanger in the wardrobe which I expect was a mere oversight. Only a small TV but I do not travel from the UK to watch TV. There is no Wi-Fi which I am not really counting as a negative as it means hours are not wasted on the laptop doing things that do not need doing but seem vitally important when one has internet available, however there is a decent phone signal. Evening was when I really appreciated this place, total silence making me think I had gone deaf, I live in a rural part of Cornwall which everybody tells me is quiet but this place is far more peaceful, clear sky, no internet distraction the best sleep I have had in a long time. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and it certainly is nice to be asked what I would like rather than the usual experience of help yourself and enduring the endless crowd around the toaster only to find when you get to the front of the queue the bread has run out so you have to wait, and when you eventually get your toast you find somebody has used the jam knife for butter so you have butter with red streaks looking somewhat similar to a raspberry ripple. Admittedly in the help yourself system most hotels adopt there is more choice and endless quantities but sometimes service can be a lot more, my wife being Indonesian had a plate piled high of pretty much everything with the customary dollop of rice, Indonesians never think they have eaten unless they have had rice, I had toast, and omelette with sliced tomatoes all cooked very well, customary orange juice and a pot of tea each, note for any Brits in that the milk is condensed milk, some may not like it. Overall this was a very enjoyable stay and wish time allowed longer and I would certainly come back have I the time. It is clean and the quite at night is wonderful but also I was made to feel valued as a customer which is rare nowadays. Lack of Wi-Fi is a positive but lack of refrigerator and kettle is a bit of a black mark but not such that it would deter me from going back.
