In 2010, our family opened Bara Beach Bungalows at the far end of Bara Beach. We couldn’t wait to share this beautiful place with other travellers in the hopes that they fall in love with Bira the way that we did. Our Beachfront Bungalow and Restaurant overlook the clear blue waters of Flores Sea. Each Bungalow comes with an ensuite bathroom and private terrace with a garden view. Here at Bara Beach Bungalows we offer free on-site parking and have a couple of scooters to rent for those who like to explore. Our team continuously looks forward to welcoming guests and friends from around the world.
Very poor Service
Reviewed By 628esatbOur flights got canceled 1 day before the booking and i informed straight away the hotel manager named Jenna via agoda mail and proof of cancelation. Also i called the property and talked with the receptionist Mina, she couldn't do much and refered to agoda. Calling agoda for 40 min they tried the best to support me by contacting this property, but this ignorant manager claimed even that she didn't received a proof. Obviosuly the booking was not refunded and also not re-scheduled. On a long weekend where this was the last room and demand was high. Really bad service and non-cooperative. Just business oriented. Sad.

LocationEasy und quick to reach by car or public transport, only juat 100 meter from the Beach. Located amongst lush tropical gardens, you will find a selection of comfortably rooms equipped with Hot&Cold water, Air-Conditioning & cozy terraces or balcony that will ensure the restful atmosphere you desire in a Holiday.

Reviewed By WAFIHATIHATIA bit out of the way which is good, firstly upon arrival very nice friendly welcome which is always nice.The room is more or less a chalet with a outside seating area and both the bedroom and bathroom are very spacious but most important they were Clean, pretty much spotless and the bed is comfortable but only 2 pillows on a king size bed although I am sure more are available on request, the air conditioning is adequate but that may be doing it an injustice because I didn't realize how well it was working until I went outside and came back in., Couple of minor negatives first is there is no refrigerator in the room nor is there a kettle and only one coat hanger in the wardrobe which I expect was a mere oversight. Only a small TV but I do not travel from the UK to watch TV. There is no Wi-Fi which I am not really counting as a negative as it means hours are not wasted on the laptop doing things that do not need doing but seem vitally important when one has internet available, however there is a decent phone signal. Evening was when I really appreciated this place, total silence making me think I had gone deaf, I live in a rural part of Cornwall which everybody tells me is quiet but this place is far more peaceful, clear sky, no internet distraction the best sleep I have had in a long time. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and it certainly is nice to be asked what I would like rather than the usual experience of help yourself and enduring the endless crowd around the toaster only to find when you get to the front of the queue the bread has run out so you have to wait, and when you eventually get your toast you find somebody has used the jam knife for butter so you have butter with red streaks looking somewhat similar to a raspberry ripple. Admittedly in the help yourself system most hotels adopt there is more choice and endless quantities but sometimes service can be a lot more, my wife being Indonesian had a plate piled high of pretty much everything with the customary dollop of rice, Indonesians never think they have eaten unless they have had rice, I had toast, and omelette with sliced tomatoes all cooked very well, customary orange juice and a pot of tea each, note for any Brits in that the milk is condensed milk, some may not like it. Overall this was a very enjoyable stay and wish time allowed longer and I would certainly come back have I the time. It is clean and the quite at night is wonderful but also I was made to feel valued as a customer which is rare nowadays. Lack of Wi-Fi is a positive but lack of refrigerator and kettle is a bit of a black mark but not such that it would deter me from going back.

Nice view poor management
Reviewed By Budi WWe purchase a deluxe room with 3 single bed. But when we arrived, they said they never had room with 3 beds, so they gave us 1 room with 1 bed and 1 xtra bed and without complements. We have to ask for blanket and towel. The room shower was broken, the blanket basically just a plain sheet. The room has no bottle water, only glass water. The only good thing about this place is the beach view.

Reviewed By jipstrakWent here with a company four on a rainy afternoon. The place was really deserted and desolate. While ordering we asked what is the difference between cap kangkung and cap kangkung spesial, which remained without answer. Any other detail qs about the goods (in bahasa) remained unanswered, which left us sceptical and toned down expectations. However, when the food came to the table it was quite delicious. Very tasty seaside food, nice cumi, chicken and fish. Delivery was quite fast too. Would go again, blows the neighbours of salassa out of the water.
