Reviewed By Vanesa lService experience was seamless from start to end. We enjoyed the the secluded yet exclusive location. The sea view villa was spacious and clean, and kids friendly(with cot,kids teepee and baby bathtub provided). Private pool was the highlight, the area was shaded most of the time and allowed us to take a dip whenever we wanted without getting burnt, Staff were incredibly attentive and warm, and gave excellent suggestion on suitable activities. Our 2 year old son thoroughly enjoyed the visit to their farm. We also appreciate that staff can be easily reached via WhatsApp and have our enquiries answered timely. Food taste good, we especially enjoyed the Indonesian cuisine. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to revisit soon!

Very friendly staff, great food but underwhelmed by overall experience
Reviewed By pandora mWhat was great - staff extremely friendly and polite; appreciated welcome drink and towel upon arrival; room was very spacious with a side sofa that can easily fit another person comfortably; food was really delicious with large portions at their establishments; easy access to clean beach and sisters establishments (Cassia & Angsana - not operating at the moment). Facilities all within walking distance. What we didn't like - curtains were way too old, unable to pull up to enjoy greenery around us; very very low water pressure & hard to control for heated water during shower; mini pool at villa uninviting (very very yellowish); very limited view of the sea; hilltop spa - the massage room and service was good, but the place was weird. Situated on top of a hill, the reception area was a traditional outdoor platform but there was no mat/furniture. We were made to wait there. We were not sure to sit or stand. We eventually sat on the floor (among bat guano? And the occasional lizard that scampered by) and waited for sometime (about 15-20min past our scheduled appt) before being ushered to our room. Others One of the pool was closed due to maintenance. The broadwalk to the rocks also needed maintenance. Bed was extremely/too high - wished there was a short stool to help (I am short with bad knees). I literally climb onto bed everytime I want to sleep/rest. The toilet is a room away from the sink. So it was uncomfortable / unhygienic - after the toilet business, one had to open two doors before you reach the sink (one can overcome it by not closing the toilet and dressing room doors OR trying to push open the doors with your elbow). Final verdict - unlikely to return unless there is a good discount. Will not pay full price for this establishment.

The chalets are spacious, well kept and very clean and bed was very comfortable. The beach location and view is awesome. Beach was very clean and water crystal clear. Staff were very well trained, friendly and service was great!

Reviewed By apacExThis place is not for you if you are not from mainland China, definitely not for the picky ones. The place is full of PRC guests, i did not find anything annoying about that except for guests smoking everywhere without much regard for others. The good/acceptable points of this place - #1 Excellent Staff, friendly and helpful. If some of them could speak a little better english would have been better. #2 Room - is clean and acceptable. It has mostly all of basic amenities one would expect. It is not luxurious, not very tastefully designed or arranged. #3 Transportation - there is an acceptable amount of transportation facilities available both free and paid. #4. There is not much of a beach(sand), but when the tide is up, there is almost half a kilometre of water upfront that is like 1 meter deep, you can walk out all the way. #5 Beautiful view and some good photo ops if you walk down the half a km long platform they have built in to the sea. #6 Small shop that sells basic amenities, no bread and jam, nor any bananas, ie if you dint want to go out or eat at the ir restaurant. Food is barely acceptable. Choices are very minimal. The breakfast menu is very limited though they offer some additional menu to non Chinese guests. Worst of all, the breakfast buffet is not attended properly. The food served is left open to flies and birds! I am not ver picky, but this i felt was gross!!!. Most of the guests dint seem to care though. The second day we found out about a free shuttle(to and fro) to a property 5 mins from Agro called Bintan Spa Villa that has a better, cleaner restaurant with a much wider choice on their menu, some Indian as well(frozen chappathi - whatever). Their seafood restaurant is ok, food is also ok. We may not have enjoyed it so much but it did not make us sick either. The PRC guests seemed to be at home pretty much. The bad #1 The entire property itself is very poorly maintained(except for inside te room), very average looking reception, kids playground that noone would take their kids to. Tables and chairs in the restaurants are bordering dirty. The place is far from the ferry terminal and other hotspots. I will only book this place again if i dont have any choices left.

A short but amazing getaway to Bintan
Reviewed By shedevil0005Bintan Pearl Beach Resort is located about an hour drive from all the ferry terminals, during the hour journey you will see village life which is very cool and already it sets the mood for a nice and relaxing time. Hospitality was nice and warm upon arrival, and the layout of the room is amazing - basically if you leave all curtains undrawn you will have a seaview while you shower :D Also, you are so close to the sea that you can literally hear the sea waves as you are lying on the very comfortable bed. I slept for 12 straight hours on the first night, a very much needed rest. They have a sister resort which is Bintan Agro, a much bigger resort with more facilities. I did a 3 hour spa session there, it was really blissful and I received the pampering which was much needed. It is called Harmony Pure Honey Milk Bath treatment, which includes a jacuzzi, body scrub, aroma massage, body mask and finally a milk bath. My entire body felt so moisturized after that! I kept dozing off in the middle of the treatment but i fought really hard to stay awake hehehe Food at their Sun Moon Kelong were fresh and delicious, prices are reasonable for Bintan's standard, and they offer frequent shuttles between both resorts to facilitate your movements. I would definitely recommend Bintan Pearl for an enjoyable and affordable weekend getaway

Lil’ bub loves the bath tub. Thank you mba Novi for the mozzie repellent for our lil’ bub. Staffs greeted us whenever we pass by! Felt so comfortable during our stay. Had a pleasant stay with Kamuela. Will definitely come back again ? one minus point will be the breakfast! Hope to see improvement during our next stay! ?
