A wonderful lively and welcoming family owned and operated business,personal service and outstanding authentic Malaysian cuisine. Multilingual staff will guide you through the menu (with pictures!) making Station One an exceptionally hassle free dining experience alone or with a group.The set lunch special is sensational value for money!

Westerners travelers to Jiaxing wanting western food once had to resign themselves to one of two choices: American fast food restaurants, or coffee shops with western food on the menu, but something different from the kitchen. Those days, thankfully, are over. Tucked away on the third floor of the new Xuhi mall, just above the Sephora, is Secret Recipe, a real live western restaurant serving food like New Zealand lamb shanks (with bone fide mashed potatoes and gravy, no less), and cornish pasties. The menu also features other Aussie favorites like meat pies, although sadly they were out of pies when we dined there. Secret Recipe is known quite well for their cheesecakes, although we have not yet sampled them. Quite a few patrons were partaking, and they looked as good in real life as they did in the Menu. Lastly, their drinks are really well made, consisting of a variety of fruit smoothies and fruit drinks. The tropical fruit smoothie is notably good. The wait staff at Secret Recipe has obviously had quite a bit of training, and it shows in both their professional demeanor, as well as their foreign language skills. They have only been open for a few days, but the schedule seems to be 12-3 for lunch, 5-8:30 for dinner, and late night coffee and cheesecake until, well, later than we stayed there (10-ish?)I have a feeling that we'll be back to Secret Recipe very soon.
