Firstly, as an Australian, I truly could have stepped out of China and into Lygon St, Melbourne. The atmosphere was relaxed, aesthetic and refined. The food was just beautiful, we had perfect gourmet pizza at a really reasonable price- better than at home. The owner speaks English very well and lived and chefed in Australia, and the staff are very friendly. We love China, but its nice to be able to go home briefly! It will be great when they do Cappucino.

It was highly recommended but failed to deliver. It did impress me on the negative side. It is nicely decorated and warm but it stops there. We went for lunch and in total there were three more tables plus ours. They were served and we hoped to be served fast. The waiter took 10 minutes to welcome us and another 10 for presenting the menu or house specials. Cold beer in hot glasses was a big mistake and lack of service knowledge. The food arrived cold and the meat was as hard as the table. The staff wasn't very helpful. Yes we got big discount but I prefer to pay full bill and give big tips but feel full and happy. Certainly I will not be back and I don't suggest it.

It's a great place. The service is great and attentive. The waiting staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and they can suggest favorite menu items. Their burgers and steaks are sublime. Fantastic value for money. Moderately priced. Wide selection of beer imported and dragged. And finally the only place in Hangzhou by my experience where beer is served in iced mugs.

Fantastic experience. JW Marriott is a choice of lifestyle. Great ambience and quite attentive service, good menu choices and I suggest the loin cuts they are absolutely superb. The wine choice is exquisite though I would have loved more Californian and Argentinean red wines. However, we settled for a nice French Bordeaux. One note is that in order to improve the service, maybe it would be nice to have all waiters proficient in English and better upwelling skills and knowledge of the meat cuts. Otherwise, I did enjoyed and we will be back for more next time I am in hangzhou. We went for a business lunch. I was recommended the house special burger and it was a great choice. The bun was toasted and crunchy and the burger moiety at perfection. We had also salads and fresh beers served in iced glasses which is not normal practice in China. Therefore I was pleasantly surprised. The music maybe was bit too high but we asked the waiter to lower it down. I am not sure for the evening time. But for lunch it was a good place. I suggest it to everyone. It's slightly pricey but really worthy.

From the moment we entered the service was brilliant the food choice endless suiting all tastes west and Chinese plentiful beer and wine etc all included and the attention from our waiter Jack was unreal what a lovely helpful chap a credit to the restaurant and he made our night well worth a visit ps the view is pretty cool too!!
