Best place best people! Love this Cafe! The food was excellent and the juice with the mix fruits just unbelievable! Very nice treat from everyone here. The asthetics of the place are very unique and the music choices are very smooth and nice! I highly recommend it.

Su carta es variada y es sin lugar a duda una delicia.Su café me fascinó y comà una torta que tenia chocolate y era espectacular.No tengo queja alguna y el ambiente es super acogedor.

En Peru llamamos asi a los lugares escondidos con buena sazon,este restaurant esta un poco escondido,hay que llegar en taxi por precio modico,me gusto mucho el cabrito a la norteña,para viivir experiencias ,la proxima sera una cazuela por algo tiene ese nombre de esta sopa tan agradable.

I ate here nearly every day for 3 weeks and always found the meals very good. The set lunch menu is excellent value and changes everyday. Evening meals are also good value and the juices are fantastic. I found the service good and quick. Things do slow down a bit when there are a lot of people but still not bad.

Normally we don't eat at places that tours stop but this looked nice and we were in the mood for a good meal. The place was busy when we visited, but this looks to be normal in the afternoon as we saw many tour groups in the restaurant, but despite this the service was still good and fast which is likely to be one of the reasons that the tour stop here. My wife had the ceviche and I opted for the mixed plate of fried seafood because everything is better when it's fried. My wife said that the ceviche was excellent and mine was cooked perfect, add to this the dance show and we felt it was worth opting for the more touristic option.

We stopped here on our way back from Huca de la Luna. The owners and their two children were so welcoming and friendly to us tourists, which can be a little hard to find in Peru, especially since only one person in our party spoke spanish. They invited into the kitchen to watch how they prepare the meals - their kitchen was beautiful and was spotless, something else that you can't always find in Peru. They were willing and able to prepare a vegetarian dish for me (since I'm vegetarian), which can also be challenging to find in Peru. My favorite was the Marracuya (passion fruit) juice- the owners brought us refills as we couldn't get enough! The food was so full of flavor and truly felt like it was made with love. There were hammocks outside to relax on or take a siesta before or after the meal. We definitely took advantage of this.

This restaurant is not fancy but the food is delicious. The owner specialty is Peruvian Creole Cuisine. The price is incredible for the quality of food.

this place has everything in a restaurant. Good food, reasonably priced and friendly service. it is only 15 minutes drive from downtown trujillo.if you are looking for something more traditional this is the place to go.

Coco Torete offers an excellent selection of grilled meats that our table enjoyed. The portions were huge especially the ribs. They were very specific as to how the beef would be done. The sides of roasted vegetables that included peppers and potatoes were tasty. Unfortunately, they used canned mushrooms for the barbecued and ceviche mushrooms and resulted in a poor selection. The service was friendly and efficient.
