Well worth the 15 minute walk from the marina. Seafood was super fresh and cooked to order. Mussels were special. 4 cheese pizza was perfect. Service was great, made friends with the waiter who gave us some of his own special grappa. Atmosphere was small, yet loud. Delicioso! The TA directions led us to an abandoned auto shop. Glad we asked a passer by, who directed us to the end of the street.

I guess you need to recalibrate your tripadvisor ratings when you go to Italy because what's often taken for granted there is exceptional in the UK. So this first meal of a vacation which could have been excellent by UK standards I'll just rate very good. Hardly a stress test: mid week, lunch and pre-season but nonetheless good all round. Excellent anti pasto buffet for both of us then I had sea bream and my wife king prawns and squid. And memo to those that write menus in the UK these really were king prawns. Everything fresh and well-presented. And without wishing to patronise perfectly good English from the guys that run the place. The only thing that creaked was the credit card phone line.An espresso to finish and it was a great start to the holiday and slime compensation for an 0330 start!

I do not think this hotel restaurant has any great ambition to do other than feed its overnighters. It would be unfair to compare it with other restaurants whose main business is their kitchen. Dull food albeit including local dishes. A very poor house rosso. Tired staff.

Al nostro arrivo c'era già sui tavoli acqua naturale e frizzante: quest'ultima non è stata bevuta da nessuno di noi, ma ci è stata addebitata. Ci hanno portato, senza che nessuno la chiedesse, della pizza bianca mezza bruciata (che non abbiamo mangiato quasi x niente) credo come sostituto del pane, e ci è stata anche quella addebitata. La pizza onestamente non era un granchè.Ci siamo ritrovati alla fine un conto che era diviso per il numero delle persone, nonostante avessimo preso cose diverse (chi pizza e chi antipasti e dolce) e nonostante le raccomandazioni fatte in fase di prenotazione. I prezzi di alcune cose non li sapevamo nemmeno, non essendoci un menù per tutto, ma il proprietario ha preferito mandarci al tavolo un conto forfettario anzichè il conto dettagliato (che aveva al bancone).Personalmente, non ci tornerò più!

Questo locale è stata una meravigliosa scoperta. La posizione è eccezionale, vicina al lungomare di Manfredonia e al centro del paese, con possibilità di parcheggio a due passi. La struttura è pulita e ricca di dettagli davvero incantevoli. Ma la vera sorpresa è la cucina: abbondante, curata, dalla scelta degli ingredienti di ottima qualità e freschissimi, fino alle decorazioni che non mancano in nessun piatto. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e in famiglia dall'inizio alla fine, dal personale gentile e professionale, dal cuoco a cui abbiamo voluto fare i complimenti di persona e dal proprietario sempre presente ed attento. Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglio a tutti e per tutte le età . Continuate così e ad Maiora semper!
